Very clean, lots of designer shops! Bit of a waste for us as we were actually souvenir hunting and anything from here was well out of our tourist budget! However, as we had just visited the local market across the bridge, it really brought home to us that there really are 2 distinct sides to China- people with cash to flash and people with very little! We went there to learn about China and this was probably one of the more blatant lessons.
