沙滩很漂亮,附近有很多的苏打水饮料可以买。沙滩上很干净,也不会感觉到危险。游泳的时候,衣服就放在沙滩上,但也没有什么事情发生。因为有珊瑚,我们很难发现海洋的入口。

离超市非常近,所以喝到的啤酒还是冰凉的??波多维耶荷有几处礁石保护海滩,海滩离露天的餐厅、酒吧和超市只有几米远。确实,这里不许停车,你可以从酒店走着来,或者骑自行车来,然后把车锁在最近的棕榈树上。拿上一条纱笼,带本书,单纯的享受凉爽吧。

我是太想喜欢这里了。我和朋友是2012年9月来的,就不提住的哪个酒店了,反正就是房间里所有东西都被偷了。我们出去吃晚饭时他们进来的,很明显是内部人作的案。我们给住在镇上的朋友打了电话,他们来了后酒店的老板居然让我们走人,我们就走了。美国使馆我们也很快联系了。美国使馆也让我尽快离开,我就走了,同时我那个朋友正和住在镇上的朋友们一起。据说酒店的主人吸海洛因,而且美国国防部也声称附近区域存在严重的健康隐患。犯罪情况也时有发生。我刚走不久海滩上就发生了两起谋杀案。酒店到处也没有热水!在前往San Jose的高速路上还堵了3个小时,因为碰到两起毒品自杀行为。所以一定要小心!当地人实在太穷了,虽然让人很怜悯,可如果你是白种人就还是别穿好衣服了,别让人家看上去就很富有,不然他们会恨你,你就会成为眼中钉了!

漂亮,安静,游客不是很多不用急,这是我非常喜欢的。晚上依然美丽。古老的酷酷的游艇是为船上游览准备的。看到一对小黄貂鱼,所以要当心哦。海水清澈很温暖。

我们很喜欢真正的自然,这个海滩恰恰如此。很安静,浪很大,还有一排树可以有阴凉。一天当中不管我们什么时候去那,那里人总不是很多,总有阴凉。我14岁的孩子们很喜欢人体冲浪,我就在阴凉下读上几个小时的书。在路的另一旁有许多餐厅,还有冲浪板租赁处还有教学冲浪的,海滩上也有按摩服务。不错,垃圾箱外面会有一些垃圾,但是整个波多维耶荷都是这样。

This little town is perfect. Everything about it. The people, the beaches, the friendly beach dogs, the drinks and the overall atmosphere. The nightlife is tons of fun! It's really hard to leave here. Laziest town but the best.

There are numerous beaches in Puerto Viejo, but Playa Cocles was fabulous. A beautiful setting, clean, a nice crowd. It's hugely popular with surfers, but you can swim also in the small life guarded area nearer to town. However, you do need to be careful, and it's a wild workout. A nice scene also as the sun sets with people playing guitar etc.

First of all you have Salsa Brava a world class wave that has a pipeline feel to it. Then you have a black sand beach, a coral reef for great snorkeling when there is no waves and an island beac all in 1 mile of coast line. Truly amazing. I love Puerto Viejo.

We stayed in the Vacation Rental Casa Fiesta (check them out!), and the rooms are on the beach! Soft black sand from the rain forest. It's beautiful and in October virtually deserted. It gets hot during the day because.....it's black! If you go further south there are coral reefs, and they don't require any boat to get out too see them. I would recommend going into the city of Puerto Viejo and along the beach is a surf shop. They have tours but you can also rent/buy snorkel gear. Ask those guys where to go snorkel and they will give you great directions. I had never seen coral reefs before and they were so freaking cool.The beaches are clean and well taken care of, the people are nice and it's just a blast.

The water was warm, there were very little waves. This is a relaxing beach. It does get busy on the weekends, but you go come here at any time of the day and get a spot in the sand to lay your towel on and take a nap or tan.

We visited the beach in January 2015. We found the beach clean and not very populated. The beach is most popular among young surfers but as a middle age couple we felt comfortable at the beach. The beach has large waves so it is not recommended for smaller children. There are no facilities for restrooms or showers on the beach. You have to visit one of the few beach restaurants on the other side of the road. As a photo enthusiast it is a great place to shoot surfers.

Best beach in the world and not crowded! This beach welcomes all types and there is no judgement. Great surf, great sun and great swimming, safe for all ages.

Puerto Viejo has an awesome beach, with a small town surrounded by the sound of the waves. It's an awesome place to go an relax, and have a good time with the friendly locals and foreigners that visit it. Food is amazing, from local spicy Caribbean food, to a perfect bakery with home made products called "Bread and Chocolate". Just take into account that getting there from San Jose by car may be challenging, definitely recommend to go by bus.

Puerto Viejo does not have a nice beach neither comfortable. Puerto viejo is not about the beach, it is more about its relaxing careless vibe all around.

The beach could have been very nice but I was so surprised how dirty it was. There was a lot of garbage everywhere. It could be so much nicer if someone could tend to it. It has potential but someone has to take charge to keep it nice or at least begin by trying to improve it
