This is a museum of ceramics and pottery. Its very interesting and it's free. There are also some pieces for sale. Well worth a visit
Good guides, beautiful artifacts, well presented. There is nothing I disliked about this museum. It is a short course in Central American history, in artifacts.
This is a nice little museum dedicated to both ancient ceramics ofNicaragua, and contemporary work, as well. Very nice displays in a beautiful setting. Highly recommended.Free, donations accepted.
A nice, smallish museum with some beautiful pieces and statues. Worth a visit. The building itself is interesting to walk through.
This is a not to be missed museum full of stunning old art works - mostly pottery - and with a small but well priced selection of new clay works.
This is well worth a look, very informative re: archeological digs around nicaragua and costa rica, the pottery, paintings and old photgraphs are great. Definitely pop in here if you have time.
I thought this was a great museum. The tour guide was very insightful. There is quite a bit to see and best of all it is free. I would recommend stopping in. It takes about 30 mins to see it all. It has very old ceramics (300 BC) and some new ceramics which are even for sale.
It helps to love ancient history, but in any case, it is worth the 45 minutes you will spend. Certainly not a world class museum, but you will not readily see their collection elsewhere.
Great art. Especially the ceramic pieces that they sell. It's a small museum that you can get through in half an hour. It takes longer if you read all the interesting information on the digs. And it's free.
This is a one of a kind -- a private museum of PreColombia ceramics. Spacious rooms around open courtyards in the Spanish way. Some excellent modern pieces by local artists for sale -- so you can bring home memories of having seen the real, antique, beautifully preserved ceramics of this area.
Quite interesting. More for adults to take their time to look at historical artifacts and read all the info included than for little preschoolers ambling around looking to break something.
i think is not a recomendable activities options in granada. if you want you can visit this place, but nothing to exited!
An excellent place to spend a few hours and go for a relaxing stroll. I think there is a donation for walking around the museum. But worth taking the time to visit. There are many wonderful sites in Granada.
Nothing that special, but was a good break from walking around town. The tour is free, but they ask for a donation.
Great displays of traditional pottery. Completely free. I was the only one there when I went and it was well worth a half hour stop.
