The school was excellent, and Elisa was an excellent teacher - patient and clever in maintaining my interest, and in imparting her knowledge.

I needed to brush up on my spanish. After visiting four schools in Granada, I chose Spanish School Xpress and did not regret it a bit. I really appreciated the way they greeted me, their flexibility and the fact that they are Nicaraguayan owned.The courses are one on one and the two teachers I had the opportunity to work with were professional and very cultivated. I did learn quite a lot about their culture.It was very nice to go to Laguna de Apoyo and to Catarina for the spanish classes for a change of surrounding.And for an additional 20$ a week, they propose different and very interesting activities. City tour in horse-drawn carriage, Islands of Granada, Mombacho volcano, dancing classes, etc. The cooking class in my appartment was definitely my favorite. We had lots of fun cooking a nica specialty : Indio Viejo.Spanish School Express will go out of their way to adapt their schedule to yours.

This school provided me with my first experience of learning Spanish in Nicaragua, and also with my first experiences in terms of culture and politics. I have returned to Nicaragua several times since, and have to thank the school for a great introduction which made me want to know more about what this country has to offer ...

I studied here for a week in September 2009; while my teacher was OK, I felt that the school was simply trying to make a large profit from its students living us with the impression that the school was raking in a great deal as middleman -- for the homestay, activities, transportation, and tuition -- and we did not have a happy experience dealing with the owner. I studied a second week at a school on calle La Calzada, where I received much better Spanish instruction and where I trusted the integrity of the organization.

Me gustaron todas las actividades por las que normalmente necesitaría pagar mucho en las agencias de viaje. También los profesores tuvieron mucha paciencia, yo aprendí mucho aquí y continuaré aprendiendo español en las escuelas hermanas en San Juan del Sur y León.

De SSX is een goede school waar je spaans kan leren voor gevorderden maar ook voor beginners. Ik heb de basis spaans geleerd hier en ben heel tevreden over de lessen, activiteiten en de leeromgeving!
