It's easy to reach from the city, nice quiet and clean. Almost empty in the morning with just a handful of ppeople in the afternnon - a perfect place for those who want to escape the crowds and enjoy the sea and the sun.

perfect place to watch the sunset. serene, quiet, beautiful. the way to the beach is also very nice, pleasant. overall a feeling that one is in a modern as well as ancient india.

Non commercial and very calm beach. Best in diu everybody mind's their own business as far travelling and exploring is concerned

Sound of waves at this relatively less crowded beach can be amazingly calming. Cross the gateway and go on to see the place where Jallandhar devil's head had fallen when Lord Shiva had killed him by Chakra thrown from the now called Chakratirth.

serene........calm.........refreshing.......all the known adjectives can be given for this beach.... Its very close to the diu fort and church.....You can spend hours here and still feel like you just now came here

Anyone who comes here knows that Diu is not your regular beach holiday destination, one which is high on contemporary tourist comforts. It's different. Jalandhar beach, in my opinion, defines Diu. It is small, serene, devoid of much crowd and absolutely lacks things like hawkers, stalls, shacks (not that they're present on any Diu beach) and police. Though the atmosphere there wasn't compelling, I'd not mind sunbathing at the beach even if it'll mean being the only one doing so!

the beach is very nice.isolated.on the roadyou get isolation at least you can sit quietly as general public avoid it as it is far from city.

Just a short walk from Diu town, but really not that impressive. Don't think I would ever be tempted to actually go swimming here! Fairly peaceful location though and nice for early morning walks.

Clean and silent beach, no much crowd and very peacefull.can also plan an evening there or can dine in moonlight, carry your own stuff as little availability there.

DIU is my favourite destination however over the period the cleanness, maintenance is not done well. Jalandhar beach was very very nice. Now no shade and proper cleanness on benches. No water / breakfast facilities near by.Administration can make is better again. Plantation can help a lot.

My husband visited this daily for his morning walks. The mostly deserted beach is rocky, so not suitable for bathing, but great for just sitting and listening to the waves.

This is one long walk along the sea. Very clean. Very quiet and with beautiful natural surroundings. A must visit place in the evenings or early mornings.

It was just okay. we visited this place thinking that it has to do something with the Jalandhar who was born out of Mahadev's anger. But no one was there to tell us what actually it signifies.
