I visited on 25 December 2014, the church was beautifully decorated . It was just perfect and magical .

Great architecture and its an old church which stands as one of the Majesty of Pondy..It.s located right in front of Pondy Railway station and its walkable from beach and most of the attractions in pondy.

Clam and Peaceful .. The biblical verse from 2 Chronicles 7:16 is written above the entrance door in Latin "sanctificavi locum istum, ut sit nomen meum ibi" which means "I have consecrated this house, that my name may be there forever. My eyes and my heart will be there forever.".

In Pondichery, this is a must visit place. The church is near the railway station and is nearly 1km away from the main city. It is one of the oldest church in India.

I couldnt find anything different in this Chapel than all the other ones arround. Positive thing try to get to this place from white town or the promenade and I assure you will get to know at least some good places arround the town ;)

Like in many tourist locations, some of the best attractions are least visited. Church is located towards the railway station of Pondicherry, since this is around 1 KM away from other main attractions the place is almost empty all the time.This is one of the oldest churches in south India, the etched glass is beautiful. Budget around half hour to see around.

The church from outside is very Colourful. In the surrounding area beautifully constructed buildings and statues. We went in for the Service and found peace there. a MUST SEE.

This has Gothic architecture and contains stained glass panels depicting events in the life of Jesus Christ. It is built in the 18th century by the French missionaries.

Peaceful and serene place to visit. Among all the places visited in Pondi, this one probably is one of the best ones standing apart from the rest.

This church was beautiful. I visited on Christmas. Had good collection of photos. It is peaceful and it is very big Cathedral and it is on the main road coming from the Beach to the city.

Superb architecture. Enormous structure. A must see point when you are in Pondicherry.We visited it in afternoon, was quite deserted place. so no queues or any such issues.

As stated before, I enjoy churches in India. This one is a winner inside and out. The façade is soaringly inpressive yet cheerful in its bold paintwork. Inside is a wonderland of brightly coloured devotional statuary and lights.

We visited this church in the morning.It is a beautiful design and has a marvellous interior.Like most churches in India,it has its own quirkiness that I enjoy to see.Definitely worth a visit.

A Good church with some historic events...Got to know more about christianity and their preachings and their religion. Good place to explore.
