虽然最近城堡看了很多，但是贡伯儿格儿还是很让人震撼，分为左右两个部分，可以看到跟长城一样绵延的城墙。门票外国人100RS，很便宜，下面还有一个不错的餐厅，可以在那里吃饭。

Most popular tourists packages available do not include this fort in their standard itinerary. Make sure you ask for it. Even if you have to pay a bit more to get this included..... believe me your trip to Rajasthan is incomplete without visiting Kumbhalgad.However it is a hill fort and you got to climb the stairs to the top. No luxury of ropeway etc.

Kumbhalgarh Fort is a Mewar fortress in the Rajsamand District of Rajasthan state in western India, and is easily accessible from the city of Udaipur. Extraordinary. Set amid steep hills this fort is on a peak with walls running along a ridge. We went late afternoon and were treated to incredible sunset views followed by a somewhat hair raising ride to Udaipur. Well worth the climb to the top as the views absolutely take your breath away.

You will admire Kumbhalgarh fort when you see it with your own eyes. It is like a invisible fort until you reach with in 500 m. This fort has quite long boundry walls, beautiful temple, beautiful views from top.It is around 2.5 hrs away from Udaipur. We covered Kumbhalgarh fort, Nathdwara & Haldi ghati in a day.

The road to Kumbhalgarh from Udaipur is not great and we had many misgivings about our journey to this place. But boy! did we love it once we arrived.It is the most magnificent fort that I have ever seen. Must visit!

.we drove from udaipur to kumbhalgarh by own car. the whole journey was just mind boggling. u pass by a number of villages and get a chance to peep into the actual rural life of the area. FORT.. HUGE.....just amazing. suggest you to leave udaipur post lunch.carry plenty of water and handy food with you splly while travelling with kids. reach kumbhalgarh by four. its a huge fort and you have to climb a lot . nothing much to see inside the fort. just walk along the path,,walls. view is magnificent . light and sound show z must to watch. will not suggest to drive back in night at the way is very lonely and surrounded by jungle. stay back in kumbhalgarh and next day return back via haldhi ghati.

must visit place and in monsson extermely well.we have visited this place from udaipur about 100 km journey prefer by car only.the fort is surrounded by mountains and very good enginnering by that time.really surprising by knowing the history.

This is one HUGE fort. The outer wall goes on and on and on and on; it is close to 12 km long. There are not too many buildings still standing within the fort - you can see them all within an hour or two. The real joy is just walking along the wall of the fort and peering outwards at the magnificent views. A few tips- It is about 2 hours by road from Udaipur but only in a private taxi. Connectivity by public transport is terrible (it took us 4+ hours and around 4 vehicle changes)- Try to reach there early in the morning because it is hard to walk afar post 11 am due to the intense heat- Carry water. You can buy it at the entrance as well. There are no shops inside the fort area.

The fort is worth a visit. Visit time should be either in winters or monsoon. It takes 2 hours from udaipur. would recommend you to leave post lunch so that you reach by 3. It will take 3 hours to explore the fort. Light anf sound show is must ,as the feel of the place changes completely . The light and sound show is a bit filmy but one will enjoy. As it gets over by 8.,would recommend to stay back. As the route is through jungle and very empty. We travellef back the same day,but won't recommend anyone who are traveling alone.

Glorious Indian history is associated with this fort where Maharana Pratap was born. One has to climb on steep slope to accent, but worth enough. Useful tips:1. Carry water bottle (must) and soft drinks, biscuits, chips etc. (if you wish) if you want to save yourself from paying almost triple of actual cost.2. In summers, go after 5 PM if you also like to see the light and sound show. In winters, make sure that you are wearing adequate woolens as this place tends to get very chilly.3. You will need around 3-4 hours. So plan accordingly.4. The temples in the lower end of the hill may be visited later. Start to accent first.

This is a magnificent site some 1,100 metres up in wooded mountains with impressive fortifications, partially restored I think. At the top of the citadel there is the rather bare Cloud Palace, which looks quite recent and is not very exciting, but the views, the setting, the extent of the fortifications and the two fine c15 temples near the main gate are all marvellous. Cafe on site and good toilets. The site is not easy to reach; we got a taxi from Ranakpur which took about an hour and a half on the way up and an hour on the way back, but it is a pretty drive through partly wooded and partly agricultural landscape.

The fort is huge and the view is amazing from here. Worth a visit. They have a small canteen inside too for a quick bite. Only con - spitting everywhere! wish they would clean and maintain it better.

We visited Kumbalgarh Fort on 2nd Feb 2015 at 4 pm. It was the right time to climb the fort.. well, it is not that difficult to climb it but certainly it is difficult to go one complete round on the long wall.It is a great defensive fortress built by Rana Kumbha. It has 360 temples within it . Sound and light show ( Rs.75 per head) is ok but they could have done it better. Neelkantha Mahadeva temple and Badal mahal are worth seeing. It will take 2 to 3 hours to see the fort and one hour for light and sound show. From the top of the fort one can enjoy the magnificent view of the surroundings.Visitors with children must go along with some food items as there is very less choice over there.
