我们去过杰伊瑟尔梅尔(Jaisalmer),很喜欢这座城市,堡垒绝对是要看的,如果你对照片感兴趣,一定要早点去过,因为你会惊讶的看到堡垒像金子一样闪耀,我对城市留下了深刻的印象,尽管平静,却有你能看到的最棒的东西,整个城市半径只有7公里。

贾伊瑟堡是最大的一个堡垒在印度建于公元1156年的拉其普特人统治者时期。堡垒雄伟地矗立在出库塔山上。它是由当地的黄砂岩建造的,出于这个原因,它也被称为“金堡”。这个堡垒,俗称“声纳奎拉”堡垒里主要的名胜就是皇宫,耆那教徒的寺庙和梅兰。皇宫内的博物馆陈列品很少,但你可以从屋顶享受一个很棒的风景。耆那教寺庙值得参观但是有点昂贵的。这是唯一的,仍然有人生活在堡内。堡内。在入口处有几个餐馆和咖啡屋。

我们在这享受了非常棒的好生活,真是一个很赞的好地方。这就像是一个儿时的童年梦想终于美梦成真。极力推荐大家来到这里, 千万不要错过这个好地方。

I spent three days here and was glad I had it on my itinerary. Being one of the very few forts that has a community residing within its walls makes you feel like, one has to imagine, you've gone back in time when people actually lived within forts. Being in the desert also give you the opportunity to do a camel safari. Not to be missed!

Rajasthan has many justly famous forts. Jaisalmer stands apart because of its amazing evocative setting and creative use of materials. The fort doesn't stand as HIGH as, say, Jodhpur's, but from a distance seems more to melt into the desert. You can stay in havelis IN the fort.

You can easily spend a few days exploring all the nooks and crannies around the fort and the stonework within. Whether you sit at one of the viewpoints overlooking the town or just walk down the alleys and go to the temples it is a beautiful part of the town.We were advised to not spend money within the fort as it perpetuates tourism in the fort which the government are trying to move citizens due to its declining structural integrity.

The fort is definitely a not to miss place. The access to it is free and the place is humming with life. Restaurants, coffee shops, small shops, a lot of cows and a certain feeling about how people used to live in that area. Inside the fort there are two things with entrance fees as far as we could navigate the intertwined alleys and each side of the walls or the view points as they call them has a very nice display of the city and it's yellow houses. It's illuminated by night so don't mind catching the sunset there, it feels like a genuine relic of history which was generous enough to let people inhabit it still.

The expansive fort spoke about the excellence in architecture, details of technical excellence in craftsmanship, the work of art rendered in stone across its entire length and breadth. The vision of security, overseeing the populace and preserving the highest ideals of culture must have been foremost in the minds of the rulers who ruled these lands. The most touching sight was the hand-print of the 17 queens on the entrance of the fort - these belonged to those queens who committed 'sati' alongwith the funeral pyre of their royal husbands. One needs a devoted guide/voice guide to be able to understand this cultural heritage deeply. This massive structure in stone is not cemented at any point - you've got to see it to believe it.

Popularly called as the Golden Fort owing to the use of the yellow sandstone blocks in its construction. The must visit attraction of Jaisalmer for history buffs, foodies and photographers. History buffs would find a lot of amazing and interesting information in the fort to incite and feed their curiosity buds regarding the history of Jaisalmer. There are a lot of temples and houses in the fort complex, and people still live in the houses in the fort, so you will find the place crowded all the time. There are a various food stalls inside the fort and the food is worth trying, especially the "Masala Chaas" sold by a vendor just after the fourth gate of the palace in front of Maharaj's mansion is just awesome. There is a lot to capture by your lens inside the palace. It is a good place to spend around 3-5 hours. Visit to Jaisalmer is incomplete without a visit to this fort.

This is the only fort where around 2000 ppl stays. There are lots of hotels and good market place inside. You can also get some really nice restaurant there. If you want to be in Jaisalmer for more than 3 days, you should be stay inside the fort. But you should get cheaper shopping options outside the fort in the Jaisalmer main market area.Leather is really cheap there.

Liked the Fort this is the only living fort . Fort dewellers are excellent host . I was here for Holi and the fort dewellers also involved us in the holi celebrations .
