Lovely place to chill, if you walk further round the cliff you will find another beach with the sweet water lake. Worth a visit!
Now it is my one of the favourite beaches in Goa. This was my first visit to Arambol and I completely loved it. Crowd was adequate and beach was relatively quieter compared to Candolim. I loved Shacks over there as most of the shacks had lower sitting where you can just lie down and chill. Worth visiting beach.
Extremely disappointing. Filled with people very crowded. becomes a bazaar at night with people selling wares in the middle of the beach. drunk Indian men gawking at women, vendors and hawkers bothering you every minute of the day. Beach itself was okay, extremely dirty. nothing great.
Decently clean and a pretty beach. Relatively lesser crowd which makes it even better! Many options for shacks overlooking the beach as well.
Fantastic and less crowded beach. One can find a more natural aura about the beach. If there is time, One must do a detour through Pernem while returning back from the back towards south on a 2-wheeler, to experience the most amazing, dark and dense, hilly countryside of goa. We lost our way and happened to experience it the memorable way.
I am an adventure freak n a bagpacker, and in search of paragliding spot in south india took me to arambol beach I had been to arambol when i was in goa and it was the first time i did paragliding. It was an Aaaaaaaaaamazing experience where some Russian people assist u doing the surf. They will charge to 1500-2000 bucks but plz bargain. Visit before the monsoons or after September, it will be for approx 30 mins in the air but if u insist they can extend.
Lovely beach with a robust night scene and ad hoc outdoor market that appears each evening. Lots of great places to eat and bunk.
Arambol is a place away from it all....Less crowded, serene and quite..... Not quite as awesome as we had expected it to be, there was no live music around as we had read in the reviews, the only difference was there were much less Indian people there, majority were foreigners. The sweet Lake was good for swimming. In all this place deserves a visit if you're interested in sitting quietly and just enjoying the sea.
Beach is beautiful but was very crowded. TRP is fresh water lake. There is also a small market where there are eateries, shops selling apparels, sandals. If your idea of Goa is enjoying drinks in a peaceful shack, this one is for you.
from Arambol, one should walk about 15min to reach another beach which is less crowded with decent people around. very beautiful beach to play and also to relax. the highlighting point is the fresh water lake.. one can get into the salt water beach, play for some time and come and get relaxed and swim in fresh water which is surrounded by trees. One of the best experience of both the worlds.
Arambol beach is full of small shacks and huts to stay cheap. The beach itself is very clean and the area is great if you want to stay away from all the parties. Seems like most people staying here is families and people practicing yoga.
A beautiful beach with a sweet water lake. While driving to this beach, one can see the most amazing view along the coast. This is one long beach. Arambol is different because of the sweet-water lake. You need to take a 15 minute walk along the coast between vendors and shacks to reach this lake. Once you reach here, taking a dip will make you feel just too stress-free.Water is cold and clean. Don't go deep in there. The lake is surrounded by trees making it just very scenic. Bring a ball along with you.
Many of the most popular beaches in Goa (Calangute, Baga, Anjuna etc) are overhyped and congested. Arambol is different. The distance (about 50 kms from Panjim) probably ensures that. Arambol is an altogether better beach. Cleaner water, cleaner sand, less crowded yet accessible and with major conveniences around.
The best place we stayed in Goa. Yoga, massages, live music, alternative style with the majority of visitors traveling and staying for a few months so the whole place has a very laid back feel. Jungle walks to the banyan tree, amazing sea swimming, parasailing, good choice of beach shacks many offering fresh fish prepared on the BBQ, nice for a treat. Accommodation is in beach huts or guest houses. We stayed at Darwins Ark, next to Relax Inn and had a large room with balcony and hot shower! Very reasonable rates and scooter hire can be arranged for you, as well as laundry / taxis etc. all very easy and hassle free. This place is heaven and a place that we will never forget. For your I recommend Alpesh's Iyengar in Glastonbury Street, hard but really rewarding and Alpesh is a very good teacher.
Although it requires a good hour long walk, the beach has a point where there is beach on the left and fresh water pool on the right. A very nice place to swim or just chill out with a few drinks. A very nice spot
