There are eight species of horses indigenous to Japan. One of them is DOSANKO.They live in Hokkaido. So pretty.They have big round eyes and are not tall and full of appetites. They are strong!We can meet them at Hose garden MURANAKA located between airport and Sapporo. You can ride right after 2 hours arriving airport. We enjoyed 1 and half hours. Going to Grassy plain, brook, pond with hearing the tweet of a bird and birdsong. The facilities are not so good. Portable TOILET....But you can ride with low cost. Only 4000yen per 1h. 長靴や軍手もかしてくれるので運動靴をもっていきましたが使いませんでした。オーナーさんは冗談をいいながら説明してくれたり子供にも話かけてくれ安心しましたどさんこにのってのんびり散歩という感じですがたずなをゆるめすぎてるとオーナーさんに「ゆるめすぎ！馬が走りだしたら止まらないよ」と言われ程よい緊張感をもちました。中学生の子供はオーナーさんの馬と子どもの乗る馬を繋いでいるので安心です。

1時間4,000円というリーズナルなお値段で、どさんこ乗馬できます。今回冬の時期ゆえに、お客さんが少なく、ゆえにウサギの足跡なども見られ楽しかったです。

乗馬経験がなくても、ここの馬はおとなしく、また、オーナーがついてくれるので、安心して乗馬体験ができます。でもオーナーがついてくれるといっても、馬を引いてくれるのではなく、オーナーは別の馬に乗って、先導してくれる形です。だから、自分も1人で馬に乗って、それについていかなければいけません。でも、その、自分でやる、というのが楽しいんです。馬が途中で草を食べてさぼりそうになるのを、手綱を引いてしかってやったりします。料金もとてもお値打ちです。
