Farm Tomita is just off the highway, so it's very convenient. As it sees high tourist traffic, you can be assured there are enough facilities to cater to all your needs (think: lavender ice cream, big car parks, numerous food and souvenir stores, numerous places to rest and sit). The big negative: Too many tourists!

It is my first time in Hokkaido I love the place which full of the flowers , softly smell of Lavender.I try Lavender ice cream, it is so delicious.

I went in the beginning of May and there's not a lot of flowers blooming... I believe the key time to visit is in July, maybe late June. However, that being said, this was still a definite highlight of my trip. I missed my stop on the JR (it's NAKAfurano, got off instead at Furano station) and the tourist center said it's almost 10km away from foot. The next train would be an hour later. Seeing how it was frustrating that I spent almost >3 hours on transit from Sapporo, I decided to bike by renting from a nearby bike rental place. Boy it was one of the most scenic bike routes I have ever witnessed and I bike quite frequently back at home. The mountain ranges surround you as you go to the farm. It will still take a while (I think almost an hour) but I don't regret it for a second. Don't forget to try their unique Lavender ice cream for 300 yen!

A place not to be missed if you are going to Hokkaido. Furano is centrally located in Hokkaido and the farm turned into different views every 3 months.Beautiful and colourful variety of flowers. Delicious lavender icecream

I'd love to recommend everyone I know to visit this farm during summer. Lavender field is so romantic and worth to see. Lavender calpis is so-so but I love Lavender soft cream. The day we visited is sunny and not very hot. Flowers were all blooming. Everything is great. the only little problem is the number of the toilets is limited but overall are still perfect.

Going to Hokkaido is not going to Hokkaido without visiting farm Tomita.The farm is full of flower of various type, not just Lavender plant. Walking around the flower beds in the cool weather and warm sun, is a enjoyment by itself.Don’t forget the Lavender Ice cream which I think is great ! I would recommend it as a must try if you are there!The farm closes at 5pm, but you can still wonder around the farm to enjoy the sight and smell.

The flowers is such a beautiful sight that it was simply awe inspiring. I have not said the word "dammit" more times in my life as i walked from flower bed to flower bed.Besides the famed lavender of the area, there are other flowers too. As you walk around looking at the different shades, smelling the light scent of lavender and have a lavender soft cream in your hand...The farm also produces melons which could be bought as a whole, or eaten precut, or in the form of soft cream. Either way, it makes for a good summer cool down.However, the most amazing thing about this farm is the view of Daisetsuzan Mountains in the distance. Unobstructed by any towering sky scrapers.I travelled here by myself and saw other free and easy travelers too.

I have not seen the farm in spring but I am told it is simply spectacular. In winter go and enjoy the farm, the smells and the beautiful story of the farmer and his wife. Take the time to appreciate the story of how the farm was established and survived. It is worth it as your will then understand why lavender is so special to the people of Furano.

富田の分園みたいな場所で、東中地区にあり、小規模なラベンダー畑です。そのぶん、空いていてゆっくり花を楽しむことができます。

ラベンダー畑をはしごしてたどり着きました。おなかいっぱいです。水田地帯の一部をラベンダー畑にしたところのようで、内地の田園地帯のような開放感があります。天気が良くさわやかな日だったのでいうことなしでした。

ファーム富田での一番の思い出はトウキビ。関東人の私にとってトウモロコシはしょっぱくて美味しい！というイメージでしたが、さすが本場北海道のトウキビ！甘い甘い！甘くておいしい！こんなにおいしいトウキビは初めて食べました！！もちろん、お庭の花畑もきれいに手入れがされていて、ゆっくり散歩することができました。

ファーム富田さんの別館みたいな場所です。施設や広さ的にはこちらのほうが小さいですが、平面に広がる広いラベンダー畑越しに見る山々が圧巻です。人も少なめで、落ち着いてみられるので、名所へ行きたい！のではなく、ラベンダーをゆっくり見たいという方はこちらもお勧めです。展望台もあって、すごく綺麗です。

ラベンダーイーストは平たい土地にあるので、遠くの十勝連邦の尾根も美しく写真におさまります。午後になるとちょっと風が出てきて気持ちよかったです。

夏に行きましたが、ちょうどラベンダーの最盛期で本当にきれいでした。あまりの広大さにラベンダー畑にすーっと溶け込まれそうな感覚を覚えました。帰りにラベンダーソフトも食べましたがおいしかったです。

朝は早くファーム富田でラベンダーを見学した後、9時開始のラベンダーバス運行に合わせてラベンダーイーストに移動するスケジュールだった。家族がファーム富田のお土産屋で買い物をした際に、ふとレジ横の広告等みてると、そのなかに買った金額分をラベンダーバスの運賃に充填できるという案内を見つけた！5名で乗りたい。ってことは、200円×5名＝1000円の買い物をすると全員乗れちゃう。その時の買い物はゆうに1000円超でクリアー。使い方は、そのレシートをラベンダーイーストのバスチケット売り場で提示するだけだった。
