sun flower park hokuryu onsen

The main sightseeing place is near the onsen and golf club and it was literally miles and miles of sunflowers - truly, you need the tractor/tram to take you around. However, as it was extremely hot on the day we visited and the ground extremely muddy from rain the day before, we decided to do a quick one. Furthermore, as we were really satisfied at getting close to the sunflowers in Shikisai no oka, we decided, we could shorten our visit. I'm sure it must be very enjoyable riding the tractor/tram to view the miles and miles of sunflower fields. Certainly a place that i would return in the future.Overall, it is a free attraction but an entry fee of 300 yen get you closer to the sunflowers. I believe there is a separate charge for the tractor/tram.Visitors can easily visit the Rose Garden at Chippubetsu as it is not too far away.

My wife and me went to the Sunflower Park at a early morning of July, the weather was so clear and a little hot on that day; we feel so excited once we found the School Car Park and seeing the Sunflower park; Becasue this is the biggest Sunflower farm we ever seen, just a panorama view of Sun Flower in front of you and we arrive at about the right time all flowers has been growing to their tallest height.We thought the area is big, We rent 2 bikes and play around for 3 hours. An amazing experience!!In my original travel plan, I used to delete the Hokuryu Sunflower Park from my itinerary because of its remoted location. But we feel this is very worthwhile to spend 1/2 day here at Sunflower Festival!!

道の駅「サンフラワー北竜」に併設された温泉施設で、レストランと売店、外にはすべり台などの遊具もあります。脱衣所があまり広くはありませんが、源泉かけ流しの露天風呂が気持ちいいです。

黒竜味噌麺880円が有名なのに14時前に行ったのに品切れで食べれませんでした。普通の味噌ラーメン680円食べました。普通です。

道の駅なんだと思いますが、ホテルになっていて近くにある、雨竜沼に登山される方が、よく宿泊されているのかな？日帰りで温泉もあるので、２７５号線を、札幌から北へと向かう途中に立ち寄って、のんびりできます。ひまわりの里の横なので、ひまわり畑を見たら、こちらにも必ず立ち寄ります。レストランで、黒豆のハンバーグとかがあって、おいしかったです。

空知地区の公営温泉のはしりともいえる施設です。露天あり、サウナあり、私が好きな温泉のひとつです。空知地区の人たちをはじめ、留萌地区の人たちも大勢訪れます。弁当を持って一日のんびりできる所です。

正に名前の通り、龍尽くしの建物で、お～～とびっくりします。入り口の門には２頭の龍がいて、お出迎えしてくれます。前の大きな池には噴水もあります。建物の外観はヨーロッパのお城のようです。さしずめ眠れる森の美女のお城かな。が、中は外観と違って普通です。道の駅にもなっています。温泉、ホテル、レストラン、特産品の売店があります。温泉も、レストランもこの町の特産品・ひまわりを使ったひまわり湯や食事のメニューがあって、ユニークです。

北竜町の農村風景の中、突如、そこにはふさわしくない建物が・・・龍の門の中には、西欧風の建物があり、とても興味津々になります。建物の中は至って普通の売店とレストランと温泉です。売店には地元のもち米で作った「田からもち」があり、豆やよもぎ味、古代米を使用した紫色のもちなどが珍しくて購入しました。とてもコシの強いおもちでおいしかったです。近くには、ひまわり迷路などもあるので、ひまわり観光をした後、ここの温泉でくつろぐのがおすすめです。

北竜町は、北海道でもひまわりの作付面積が広くて、観光客は夏場は多いです。ひわまり迷路なんかもありますよ。温泉は、地元のお年寄りが多いですが、人もあまり多くないので、ゆっくりくつろげます。もちろん、露天風呂もありますし、ミストコーナーも、ひまわりの湯なんかもあります。
