rainbow bar

This is a really nice, relaxing place to chill out and have a cocktail ....or two! The staff are so nice and they make better cocktails than most places in Phnom Penh. I had such a nice time there even though there was no show last night because of Chinese New Year.

Rainbow is a well established well run gay bar with a relaxed atmosphere. They offer different shows on different nights of the week for added entertainment. Drinks are very reasonably priced and the beer is COLD !!! The staff are always friendly. Great for a relaxed evening drink or the start of a big night out.

Six days per week there is a drag queen show.with least 5-8 artists.Sometimes even 10 artistsThe staff is very friendly, the drinks and especially the cocktails are great. The staff is absolutely helpful even when it comes to asking for information for further nightlife in Phnom Penh.In front the bar always tuk tuks are available that bring the guests to other locations. but the other bars are easily reached on foot.Overall, we can say this is a great way bar in the evening to start and enjoy a good show.

I'm glad to see Rainbow finally on Trip Advisor! I can remember when they first opened. When I was living in Cambodia and now that I visit regularly, I always make it a point to stop in. The staff are friendly, drinks reasonably priced with draft beer available. There is outside seating on couches and a nice long bar inside with a stage and additional tables. There used to be almost nightly performances. It's not unusual to get a small free shot upon arrival!!! I often go with friends just to relax and frequently on my own....very comfortable. It's walking distance from Feel Good Cafe and Space Bar as well which makes a nice little community and very convenient to other bars and night clubs in the area...either walking or quick tuk tuk/moto drive away!!!!! Hope you enjoy. Looking forward to my next visit!!! Oh, they also have karaoke nights....so I have sung there and danced on stage as well!!!! Not to mention some of the packed parties that happen regularly!

The Rainbow Bar is an intimate setting (like everything in Phnom Penh). Yet, you'll never feel squashed-in like other gay venues nearby. The Venue is nicely decorated, clean and kept in dazzling order. The music is easy, unless you need it louder for a dance - just ask Doug! Doug, the owner, is a very approachable gentleman who strives to keep his guests as comfortable as possible. Get him talking and he'll give you some great info about Phnom Penh. The staff are very friendly and entertaining, always up for practicing their English while they keep the drinks flowing. Most nights, there is a drag show at 10.30pm. It's intimate, but very cool. The Divas use modern songs to create their unique and colorful art. Definitely worth a visit 2 thumbs up!

This is a great little bar. Comfy couches spilling towards the street, good prices, very welcoming staff. Perfect place for a chilled out drink, after dinner or before the clubs. If you catch the owner, ask about his bar's signature shooter :) Great drag/dancing show. Thanks Art and the boys for a great time!
