I first visited Enchanted Kingdom in the late 90's or was it early 90's. I no longer can remember. I'm glad to be able to be treated to another visit to Enchanted Kingdom no matter if it was already around 20 years since my last step inside EK.I had a wonderful time and saw a lot more rides than 20 years ago. I finally rode the fantastic Whee of Fate. And this time I no longer needed to ride the Space Shuttle (which was always a must for me for EK) and also the Log Jam. It's a first for me and I'm glad that they already have a Broadway Presentation to the delight of the theme park goers complete with costume, sounds, stage and the lights. It's a great show! And this time I no longer let go of the Grand Carousel. Young or old won't get shy of riding the Grand Carousel. The area of the Rialto is still there and intact but already looking so vintage in the building's facade. It must be the look that EK wanted unlike the 1st time I went to EK where everything is brand new.I'd recommend the place / the theme park. Great for corporate reservations for company's outings or for a team building spree or activity.
I haven't visited this place in a long, long, long time (almost 15 years probably). In fact, my parents haven't even been to Enchanted Kingdom before. So, when we came back to the Philippines for a quick vacation, this was one of my choices for a big family reunion. I thought from the looks of the reviews that it will disappoint, but it didn't. It was still the same fun and exciting Enchanted Kingdom that I visited before, and this is coming from someone who had already been to Disneyland CA and Universal Studios Hollywood. EK just has a charm of its own that you can't compare with other theme parks. It's definitely smaller in size, but it's just enough to enjoy a good stay with a large crowd without having to spend the entire day looking for each other (especially when your phone runs out of battery). The crowd wasn't bad when we came (Sunday, beginning of February). The waiting times weren't too long either. I wasn't able to ride all of the rides, but I did try some new ones like that drop tower and the rotating disk. I think the fact that there were so many of us made it extra fun! I don't think I have ever enjoyed EK that much. Last time I went, it was for a school field trip and these side trips usually last for only 4 hours and buses leave early to go home. This time, we were able to stay til closing to watch the fireworks. Not the greatest, but it was beautiful nonetheless.Oh, I really like the street presentations! Kinda like what they have at Disneyland but on a smaller scale. It was enjoyable! Then they also have a Mulan theatre play - which I missed too! So much more to experience for next time. But anyway, our trip to EK was all worth it. It was tons of fun! Not exactly as magical as Disney, but it has its own "je ne sais quoi". Love it! Will want to come back in the future when they do expand it!
It was my second visit to Enchanted Kingdom in years and nothing much had changed since then. Of course, it was difficult to recapture the excitement because of my familiarity with the attractions, the rides and the games. What saved the day for us was their Broadway presentation. Though the performers were not known to us as professionals, they were oozing with talent and they won our admiration. The place is also secure and clean despite the numerous people that frequent it. I have no complaints regarding these concerns.
enchanted kingdom is located at sta. rosa laguna, i'll really love this place specially the rialto and log jam..
I took boys, 6 and 12, for a Saturday at Enchanted Kingdom. Having been to theme parks in multiple countries, I give it a 3.5. We had fun, and the value was good.Yes, many of the rides would be found at a mobile fair midway in the U.S. But they were just the right speed for my guys. And it's fun seeing so many people having a great time on rides that are old hat elsewhere.Yes, the lines for the best rides got too long by the afternoon. But we were there at park opening, and we could ride anything instantly for the first hour. Don't waste that chance by stopping for lunch too soon! We moved on to some of the activities that require additional payment in the afternoon, with little waiting for those. Consider some extra cash your "Fast Pass" for those activities in the afternoon. I would argue against saving the water rides until the end of the day. They're fun, and the lines get way too long. Just get wet and dry off while you do something else. I do wish they would open earlier in the morning, but late afternoon and evening seem to be the favorite times for these activities in the Philippines.Yes, there are too many "skill games" filling up the place, but the hawkers are not very persistent and can be ignored.Yes, the entire place is painted, and they can't begin to keep up with the repainting that is needed. For the price, I could overlook the maintenance issues. More importantly, it seems they were paying close attention to staffing and maintenance that affect safety.Yes, most of the food stands were out of half of their menus, but you'll not find food this cheap in any amusement park in the U.S.We didn't have time for much of it, but the dance and music shows that we did see were enjoyable, if not world class.Although the Go Karts are expensive and not well maintained, they were once good carts, and the track is extraordinary.I've never seen the laser challenge that they have before. It's a simple concept from the movies but tough to execute. Try it!Staff are unenthusiastic but competent and pleasant. All in all, we'd go back. And probably will.
The last time i went there was in 2005. A lot has changed, for the worst! Once you stepped in, you won't feel the magic anymore (as their tagline says). Que for each ride was really a waste of time. From 3 o'clock to 9 o'clock, we only had 5 rides. The facade shows antiquity. Paints already chipped. It now becomes more like a "perya" because of the mini games on the sides.
Que was about 1 1/2 to 2 hours in each ride!!! Not worthy for the price of 600 pesos plus and the time your going to waste in the que. No upgrading with the rides since the first time it opened, and some equipments are old. This amusement park target profits rather than the good quality of their service..... Overall rating is poor due to long que which limits it's guest to enjoy the rides.
It was fun but expect to wait... for a long time. The sign says "expect to wait for 1 hour", a complete lie. waited for more than 2 hours in Rio grande rapids. They should fix the problem like accommodating just enough people. Your time will be wasted in waiting, Also, there are certain rides that will get you wet so just bring clothes (not just extra shirt). Expensive food also. If you have been to other theme parks (eg. Ocean Park or Disneyland), don't get your expectations too high.
don't even bother to visit here , very small and too old attractions , crowded with many rude people who don't know what line mean .
I can see that EK is still popular. From the number of people visiting, I can say that EK is still earning. However, I do not feel the magic anymore. EK is not the same as it used to be. It was different when I went there a number of times from 1998 to 2003. EK was colorful and lively. The paints on the buildings, rides and facilities are faded and dull. It seems nothing had been done to maintain the site lively colors. Maybe I am just expecting too high on my return visit and comparing EK with Legoland or Disneyland. Or maybe I am expecting too much for a P600 fee (£8.95). My kids did not have the same experience that I had before. I wish we just had a sightseeing activity in Tagaytay on that day.
For me the fee is just fair for all the rides in this park. When planning your trip here, it is a must to bring spare clothing because you can get wet from some of the rides like the log jam and rio grande. My family arrived at the opening of the park at 10 am so the line was not long. Btw, the park's operating hours and schedule depends on government's holiday declaration so you better check out their website first before going there. No food allowed to be brought inside, so bring cash! Hoping to be back here soon!
The only amusement park open the whole year round... Entrance is Php600 but corresponding discounts and promos are being offered as well. Just check out their website for park schedule and promos. I suggest to really make most of the rides is that you and your friends come at the earliest time possible preferably opening time... Ride all rides before picture taking and exploring as the line tends to pile up especially around 1pm. After lunch, one ride will take up to 2hours queuing !! BTW... make sure to bring extra set of clothing because you will definitely get wet after Log Jam and Rio Grande... NO FOOD OR DRINKS ARE ALLOWED TO BE BROUGHT INSIDE THE PARK.. If you bring your own transpo, just leave the food and you could always come and go as you please, as long as you have the park stamp on your arm.. Outside food is cheaper of course... Parking fee is Php50. The best ride for me is the Space Shuttle and 7D (extra pay Php100). Basically this park caters more for the kids, teens and kids at heart..
I remembered the first time I went to this park years ago when it was just newly opened. And it was very nice. Although the it was still well maintained, the place isn't the same anymore. The Rialto was a fave of mine but the Green Lantern they're showing was sooo bad most people including my group commented "That's it?!". The older ones before are more exciting. So far it's still a fun time with the whole family and friends!
We waited in the ticket lane for 20 minutes or 30 and another at entrance lane im dissapointed because star city is better and affordable price than this. Nobody beats disneyland and universal. Their cr is dirty also their rides is short some of them is needed to pay and crews is dissapointing.you should go to star city its fun in there than this.
Ticket prices are expensive. There are no other tickets than the Unlimited Pass. Parking space are not enough to accomodate customers especially when it's a peak season. It's like diskarte-mo-kung-saan-ka-magpapark.Lines are extremely long. You cant seize your 600peso-ticket. Boo Food prices are unreasonable. Overpricing indeed. Especially with the fact that youre not allowed to bring your own food inside.
