Very beautiful place in the Neuva Ecija province. Things I recommend when going.1. Flashlight2. Food3. Plenty of water4. Good backpack for your food, water, flashlight when visiting the cave or doing the stair climb5. A good hiking stick lots of bamboo sticks one can be found on the floor when starting to do the climb (the climb to the cross is about 35 minutes)6. Good shoes for climbing, I would even bring good climbing gloves7. Swimming is allowed but I don't recommend as the river can be a little dangerous8. Money for the bamboo raft transfers, should be 10pesos per headView is amazing, picture taking paradise.

Our second team building for the year 2014 was spent in this national park. We saw it from a local TV show and everyone from the team agreed to go. Travel Time: 4-5hrs. We rented a van and left Eastwood, Quezon City around 1AM because we only want to stay at the park for one whole day. By 5AM we were at the Papaya Market, Nueva Ecija to buy food for the entire team. From Papaya Market, its another 30mins ride before we arrived at the park's lobby.Things to do: Barbecue, swimming, fun-fishing, bamboo rafting, caving.Park Entrance - Php20Parking Fee - Php50 per carCottage - Php250 eachRestroom - Php5 to pee, Php10 to poop, Php20 to take a bathBamboo rafting - Php1500 for 16 people (2 raft, 1 big and 1 small)Tips: It is ideal to go there during summer so you can see the aqua-blue-green-water of the river. Haggle for the bamboo rafting to get a good price.

This natural park is situated in Nueva Ecija. To be particular, tourist should head directly to Gapan City unless he has some other things to do in Cabanatuan City, the capital of Nueva Ecija. This place is quite far. Tourist should always have in mind when he is heading to this place that it's exact location is on the foot of the mountain. This is to lessen anxiety and worry of not getting there. What is so interesting here is the rock formation carved by the flow of water. One will see how the water carved it and how the water is diminishing its volume. But this place is truly a place to visit. Beautiful, amazing, cold river that awaits you to soak in is so inviting. So, prepare your swimming garments and wear hiking/trekking shoes for this place is literally stones. Finally, rent a raft. This is where you can appreciate the river more!

You need to bring your own food, cottages available but not on the good spot where you can see the rock formation, better to stay in the cottage and do you picture taking, eat, talk, site seeing, it's nice to get somebody to help you with lots of things, there's no specific amount to give them, it's up to you how much you wanna give them but the boat cost 500 php. Each, only good for 10 person, going there is easy, you can park at the riverbank. There's a cave and an altar but we went there as a group so I don't have time to explore the place. Overall, I love it. Locals know the good spot to stay. One day is good enough to explore, entrance 20 php per person, vehicles 50 php. For the whole day.

We had a wonderful visit to this hidden gem In Gen. Tinio, Nueva Ecija. They made some improvement to make it a tourist destination. But, more needs to be done!

We went there on a weekend so there were a lot of people. Facilities are poor -- shower rooms were limited (long line of people waiting for their turn), dirty and dark. I instead changed at a small make-shift toilet. The park is really a beautiful place, though. The white rocks were fascinating and the water was clear. To get near the rocks, we rented a banca. One can swim near the rocks where the water was clearer.

We visited this place as my post-birthday celebration. For nature lovers, it was truly a beautiful place to unwind. We started our tour at the man made 1000+ steps to the cross. I must say that to reach the top, you must be fit and healthy. After resting for a while, we explored one of the caves where you need to bring a flashlight bright enough to see the stalactite formations. After those exhausting activities, we ate our packed lunch in one of the bamboo tables while listening to the stories of our tour guide. Swimming is our final activity after a 30 minutes nap. The kids enjoy riding the balsa on the side while their bodies are under water. It was a memorable experience for all of us.

Great place to go if you love nature trip! we all went here to have lunch, swimming and sight seeing.. we brought our own food and hire a balsa with table on the middle then cruise while having lunch! And its only P500 for the whole day rental with bangkero/tour guide. Its advisable to bring a 4x4 car because the road is kinda challenging! Bring your own trash bag they dont have trash bin there.

Tricycle ride takes nearly an hour from Gen Tinio town proper to the National Park along the unpaved road. You will forget all the effort you made when you see the green waters of the river cutting through the gigantic limestone boulders. You can do bouldering, spelunking, swimming, cliff diving, picnic, rafting, trekking, etc.You can enjoy this wonder in less than a thousand-peso budget if you are from Manila.

we went here last 09mar. with my 3 of friends. going there is 2 hour bus ride from manila. 45mins tricycle ride from gapan to papaya(gen. tinio) and another 45mins-1hour tricycle ride from papaya to minalungao. you will pass paved and unpaved road. dont forget to bring mask if you will commute.when we arrive there is an entrance fee that will be collected 20php/pax driver is free and for tricycle 30php, no idea how much for cars and jeeps. there are also kids who will offer and take note will not leave you and no have to choice but to say yes for them to tour you. the good thing there is they dont have fix price. any amount will do and please share your foods with them because they will not leave yourside until your done with your tour. by the way the tricycle that we rented will wait till end of your tour. there are cottage for rent 200-300 php there are 4 bamboo raft too. 800/raft for whole day that can accom 15pax max. not bad right?i recommend to go there early for you to get the bamboo raft to completely enjoy the view and the river.Swimming, hiking, camping, raft riding, spelunking and cliff diving are just some of the activities that can be enjoyed in Minalugao.pictures? to follow.. hihihi
