We travelled here on a day tour with trike, no traffic do we just stopped and enjoyed the view and a few photos. There is a great breeze with such greenery on one side and ocean on the other . Interestingly this was the idea of former president Markos along with highway to link all of the main islands of the Philippines.
All I can say is that patapat viaduct is simply breathtaking! its like being in the french riviera without leaving the country!
It's still facinating indeed, specially when you went to the Paraiso ni Anton (Anton's Paradise). The bridge was seen on some filipino car brand advertisement.
Maybe I just expected too much when i heard the word 'cave' since the last cave I visited was the Sumaguing Cave in Sagada which was way too awesome to be compared to this one. I thought we're going to a little spelunking adventure but it turned out, it's just like a rock formation that formed a circle in the middle where people can take pictures. More like an arc than a cave. But the view will take your breath away and the strong winds can also take you away.LOL.
Very cold, this is a placed you shouldnt miss, cant say a word but wow so beautiful, you can take pictures on the muddle of the road, no transportation much. Visit these on summer.
Listen to the gushes of the huge waves below the bridge and savor the moment. Take photos and imagine the zigzags of the bridge as what you can see on the top edges of the Philippine map!! Yes, you're almost on top of the Philippine's map and it feels amazing. It's a safe road or should I say bridge. Well, vehicles pass by there rarely and slowly probably because the view is fantastic every people would love to watch and seize the moment.Perhaps it would be a good idea to visit on sunset and walk along the bridge, that'd be so romantic ♥
I failed to grasp the association between the words Viaduct and attraction when I saw this piece of road recently. Totally unimpressed sadly, plus you have to be very aware of speeding cars as you enjoy the half decent view of the bay beyond and the South China Sea.
This was my first trip to the Philippines that I was able to drive. We drove from Pagudpud to Santa Ana. This was the most beautiful stretch of the drive. We actually pulled over and spent some time soaking up the views. Kind of reminds reminds you of the PCH. Nice!
Okay, okay. So its just a long road built on the side of the mountain standing on stilts overlooking the sea, but still! It was like I was in some road overlooking the english channel, if there ever was a road like that... The waves were big and angry and the rocks were just so... black. I love scenes like that.., So mysterious and beautiful. If you're pinoy, you'll know what I mean when I say, Ang sarap mag emote at mag drama sa tulay na iyon. The Best!
First stop in our Pagudpod tour is Patapat viaduct. It was drizzling but we took pictures anyway (in the middle of the road). It's a good thing that they built the viaduct. The road is smooth and you can take picture of the bridge, and the sea.
I literally wowed when I got off the van and saw this. I have been excited to see this attraction since I knew about it in the tour. Sure, it's just a long winding road, but the facts about the road makes it all the more worthwhile. It stands as one of the Philippines' longest coastal roads. And surprisingly, it goes to the next state! Take a jump shot! Thanks to my wonderful guide, Kuya Jomar Villaluz (contact # 0915 907 4537 / 0920 318 3945) our Pagudpud tour was AMAZING!
We reached the place around 730am so very early and vehicles are nonexistent, we took a lot of photos in the middle of the road w/o inconvenience.
I was the only one who had a photo op on this bridge. Everyone stayed inside the transpo because of the hot weather.I think it looks interesting enough to give 5-10 minutes of your time. The view is great. The bridge looks interesting.
Nice scenery and lovely for taking pictures, You'll have a nice view of the ocean. Close to kabigan falls and blue lagoon.
it's a very nice bridge going to cagayan valley with nice scenery, a steep mountain on one side and an ocean on the other side. it's safe to take pictures even at the center of the road, vehicle drivers automatically lower down speed once in the area. this is the last destination in the ilocos region. it's a must see.
