The water is cold but it's taste good and refreshing. This is the pool where you can drink the water!! :-)
As usual, very cool waters to dip in. There are kiddie pools and adult pools as well. What's ironic, we adults had more fun in the kiddie pool because it's got a fountain where you can take cool pictures. :) great for family activities. :)
I think that this is a favourite place for the locals to swim. There is an entry fee, there are places to sit under cover, and while the water is cold, on a hot day it would be refreshing. However, on the day we visited, the places was crowded with local teenagers, and this detracted from the experience somewhat. The place itself is tired, and needs some TLC, although I doubt this will happen any time soon.
Although this was reasonably developed and reasonably busy we loved swimming in the water, and drinking it too!Very refreshing.
A little tired and in need of some attention but friendly staff with food, locker rooms and picnic tables available.
Place boasted about their soda like water and we had tried it first hand. It wasn't like the soda that I imagined but still one could tell that there is something sweet on the water. We then took a dip on the cold water and only lasted around 5 minutes. The place was big with small cottages to place your belongings.
This is a natural soda water pool, carbonated from the volcano (the mechanics I really don't know). It is a refreshing swim. The water is neither too hot nor too cold, just perfect. But be ready because the adult pool is about 6ft in depth. Don't worry, there's a kiddie pool about 3ft deep. Also, there were about 3 faucets where you can sample the potable soda water. It tastes a bit different, but not bad. I believe the water itself have beneficial effects for the body. We came in around noon. THere is an entrance fee of 30 pesos. We hired a cottage for about 75 pesos to eat our lunch. People around offer cooking services and we ordered their native chicken in gata. We were served with native brown rice and a very yummy chicken dish. You can also bring in your own food, there are grills around you can use.
soda water in bura, is my favourite spring as it has (as the name recall) soda in its waters and it is refreshing, healthy and leaves your body so much smooth that is like you had the whole body immersed in a softening cream.and overall you can drink it too as it has good effects on your internal parts
This pool is made of natural soda water and is located at the foot of Mt Hibok-Hibok. According to the notice posted inside the water park, drinking soda water is good for hydration making you feel full therefore decreasing overall food consumption. Studies show that soda water reduces osteoporosis, decreases cardiovascular disease risk and lowers blood pressure. And yeah, once in a while, we noticed a strange, albeit faint smell too. I don't know if it's because of the sulfur or what. But it wasn't really something. There were only a few other swimmers aside from our group when we went there. We lingered in the adult pool although they also have this kids pool. Really fit for family outings!2 Regular rate is 30 pesos per person, but only 15 pesos each for children below 10 yrs old.
Not too cold, not too hot, very clean and as a bonus it makes your skin and hair extremely soft plus your scratches and wound heal a lot faster.
i love this place.. the water is cold, the friendlier way than that of the cold spring (where i only dipped once and for only 5seconds..just as cold as the ice bucket challenge, but you will get to soak you whole body, not just your head)food is available. there are vendors outside the resort just near the gate. they sell fresh buko juice and you can order food too, choose from their menu and they will prepare it and serve it for about 20mins. there is a potable soda water for everyone to taste- for free!soda spring is good for family trips, "barkada" trip and for couples too..
The place was not so crowded when we went there and the entrance fee of Php 30 was reasonably cheap. for this site at the slope of a volcano, that is surrounded with lush greenery..the clear, clean pool looks natural against the background, the peak of an active volcano !......but what is amazing is the mineral-rich spring water and the temperature was not too cold nor too hot...and the depth was just right (actually the single large pool is divided into two sections by some sort of walkway, the shallow section and the deeper portion)...
I visited numerous swimming pools and water parks and this place didn't look any special in fact, I thought it was quite not maintained properly. We took a dip onto the water which smelled weird - like sewer so we didn't really enjoy the whole experience (maybe it was really the smell of soda water). The pool was not really clean since algae stuck into our clothes after we swam in the pool. We had to rinse our clothes to rid it from the pungent smell and the algae. The place could use a little renovation and maintenance. Entrance fee is 30 PHP. Food and souvenir items are on sale outside the area.
