lake lanao

I would suggest seeing lake lanao inside MSU-marawi....It is rather huge and serene... From Marawi City, it is really dirty...From the other side going to Malabang, it is also very beautiful!

Your initial impressions are not going to be great especially if your see the lake through Marawi City. A big, polluted, congested, business-driven city, Marawi is not well set up for visitors. And yet if you have the patience to explore Lake Lanao has quixotic little corners of interest. Like canoes with Sarimanok and okir designs. And "sambulayang" thrived lake shores, which are colorful and majestic to look at. Other than it then you will see floating diapers and plastic bags.

Essendo a Iligan per lavoro, oltre a vedere le famose cascate, ho voluto spingermi fino al lago Lanao che è una curiosità naturalistica essendo uno dei pochi “laghi antichi” della terra. Alcuni scorci del lago sono belli sia dal punto di vista paesaggistico che per la vita che vi si svolge, ma il lago non appare pulito e mi è stato detto che molte delle specie endemiche di questo antico bacino sembrano essersi estinte. Peccato.
