mimbalut falls

This is not located in Cagayan de Oro City but in Iligan City which is a hundred kilometers away. The falls is nice. They have a zip line. Very accessible from the highway of Buruun, Iligan City.

Mimbalot Falls an 11 km drive from the center of the city, located at Barangay Buru-un, Iligan City. It is approximately 90 ft. and 18 ft. wide.It is the most accessible waterfall in the city dubbed as “city of waterfalls” , but very alluring with its naturally limpid water. Been here 3x. each visit is interesting. We tried the zipline thou it is short but we all enjoyed it. last time I was there was last month,they already made a lot of improvement.there is a nice small pool on the right side with cottages around. A chair near the falls for photo shoot.the stairs are much nicer now than the 1st time i was there.another added attraction is a rock climbing. it has entrance feePh20.00 each,zipline Ph200.00(before Ph150.00),rock climbing is Ph100.00. if you are afraid of heights and do not want to try the zipline, there are cottages available for those who simply want to wade and enjoy a quiet scenery and listen to the melodious chirping of birds.
