Very nice golf course.. all the staff were very good and accomodating.. food was excellent in the restaurant and service provided was beyond my expectations...
if you like golf this is the place..nice keep corse with a club house..food available..its up/scale compared to other clubs in the area..its up in the hills surrounded by up/scale houses..a safe well guarded area..i dont golf but if i did i would go there..
awesome greens and well maintained course. course can be challenging but worth it... Restrooms evenly space throughout the course. food is good a bit pricy but good.
It is a great golf course. It is very well maintained and the layout is very good. To my disappointment,,, they did not have left-hand golf clubs for hire, hence I could not play the course but one of the staff offered to "tour" me around the course.
Even though I am resident in Mindanao, this was my first visit to Pueblo de Oro GC and I can say without reservation that I was very favourably impressed. The course, which you can tell has been designed by a professional, was beautifully presented and in excellent condition (not dry as mentioned in an earlier review). Off the white tees, it is challenging (ravines and water feature on some holes) without being too difficult for the average golfer. The facilities were good too, right up there with good quality courses I have visited in Europe. My only criticism was that the on site golf shop did not stock new balls, though there were plenty of used balls (of varying quality) for 10 pesos each. Prices in the shop are steep too (a bag of about 15 long tees cost 250 pesos) though this is usual for golf gear in the Philippines. In contrast, the green fee of 1000 pesos (plus 1000 for a 2-seat buggy) is excellent value and much cheaper than you might pay for a similar quality course in Europe. As mentioned in other reviews here, a caddy/umbrella girl is mandatory but, at 300 pesos, they are also good value and very knowledgeable and helpful re yardage and putting lines. They also clean your clubs (at no extra cost) after the round. All in all I would thoroughly recommend this place to anyone looking to play a quality course at very reasonable cost.
Of course, its a nice golf course. Easy access for those who want to just look around.. they have a store where you can have some finds mostly for golfers, everything you need is in this store.
the access to the Club is very easy. the small shop has got everything you need is case you arrived without any equipment...which was my case: balls, glove of course but also shoes, topi etc . the caddy was also nice and I can say I had a good game !
Golfers are friendly. You are always welcome to tee off with friends.Food at the club is good. Its catered by a good fellow who makes sure, guests and members are always happy.
I have been to Pueblo many times and find it Excellent. The prices very cheap so you can play often. This is a private Country Club so walk in prices may vary. If you are a Member ( very cheap $ 700 USD a year for a whole family) or go as a guest on a week day the price are very good. You will have to have a caddy but they are very helpful and only $ 6 USD for 18 holes.
very expensive greenfee even by international standards, when i played there most fairways had dried out. they force you to hire a caddy if you want or not, it does not matter. it is much nicer and much better to play golf in australia or in thailand or malaysia
