This place dates back from the time of Spanish and American Occupation. It has been renamed and now retains the name of an American Flavor. The place also belongs to a group of markers left behind by the Americans, now it has been used by the locals to held events and during Christmas season this is filled with lights adding to the visual candy is a sparkling fountain at night.
there was an on-going agricultural trade fair when I dropped by, so not much to see actually. The area is just small, near the city hall. It was quite crowded, there were some students milling about.
This area is very busy, so Traffic specially if weekdays. You can find all kinds of people here. So be careful. in front of it is the City Hall, and on the sides are the shopping malls.
This plaza never seems to run out of people. Almost everybody stays here to just unwind or meet-up with friends. I just wish there were more seats and better attractions for people here.
Relaxing venue in the center of the city; or shop til you drop then come to rest here sipping your coconut juice while enjoying the breeze of the wind. A small escapade from the busy-ness of the streets around.
Beautiful.. Nice columns and kiosks and a fountain always showing off the power of the height of its shooting water. Admirable place on one side, yet on the other, their was a place uncleaned with some bushy portion, an eyesore of the beautiful city center.
Just take a pic of it then go. Nothing much to do there. It's just a small vacant land in the middle of the city with nothing but shrubs. Take a pic still, just as a proof.
The plaza was currently decorated with christmas lights and colorful ornaments. during my 3 day stay it was sealed off from the public. I wonder if its only temporary. there is a color light dancing fountain at northern end. it add a touch of liveliness at night!
