My baby was 14 months when we visit the museum and she really enjoy the visit. The place is clean, the staff is really nice and there is something for every age, even the adults enjoyed the visit. She also enjoyed the mini zoo, there are not many animals there, but is cute, clean and she touched and feed them. Was a beautiful day.
I absolutely loved this place! We went thinking only to spend couple of hours, but where all having so much fun that we ended up being there until closed. From the mini zoo, to playground, to great interactive exhibits inside or to a ride in the Go Kart or simply experience a plane ride, this place is amazing.Staff was friendly and the place is kept very clean. Definitely get a lot for the not expensive price. Great job!
We enjoy the day in the museum. My family had a lot of fun. You can learn a lot things. The Go Kart is a lot of fun. Very interesting the animals. My kid had a lot a fun and learn at the same time. We shared all together as family. There are so many thing to do that, all day is not enough. Is very clean. Not expensive. Really good for all ages. I recommend this Museum.
Its good and they have a cafe. I have enjoy the tour around the Hologram and the 360 room. I love it and iy was fun to learn about history of carolina and roberto clemente and julia de burgos.. I recomended.
Awesome museum! very complete and interactive. Here the kids can learn about many matters through the playing & interation with others kids. So many activities here make this place unique. Outside you can visit the MD-80 airplane and explore this in and out! Also the new Carolina Mini Zoo back to the museum is beatiful here you can feed the ducks, see a interesting collection of birds from differents countries of the world! And others spices like a big turtle, ponny's, some reptiles, cows, little pigs and othe awesome animals. Is very interesting and beatiful place to visit!
This is the third time whe go and is realy nice the staff needs more motivation with kids they look like they are tired of working with Kids is that is the case find another job back to the funn my son loves the place so much the plane is one of the most he loves and the gokarts and everything else that offers GO,GO,GO,GO.
Spend a great day with my son visiting El Museo del Niño. Even though, he had been quite a few times before we had a great time. I was surprised by how good the museum is and how well set up it is. The part we like the most was the real MD 80 parked outside the museum that visitors can get in to sit inside and experience almost real flying. I will recommend to any visitors.
Large interactive museum experience, great for small children and inexpensive. Go-cart active area and large playground in the outdoor back patio are great attractions. Real plane on site also fun.
This museum was lovely. My kids, even myself learned a lot. It was very educational and fun at the same time. My son loved the airplane tour and my daughter loved the huge playground at the back. But my son highlight was the Go Kart race track they had. Carry your kids here and they would be surely entertained.
We had a late flight out of Puerto Rico and we strategically left this museum on our list to tackle that day. Well after about an hour my kids said they wished we got here earlier or at least had a different day to come back. It was one of the most spaced out and clean museums we have ever been to and we have been to many many children's museums. I would actually call this more of a children's/science museum because EVERYTHING was interactive and educational. I, myself, found that I was spending alot of time at certain attractions and I needed to move on if I wanted to see everything for myself. And all of my boys (ages from 5 to 14) were entertained for the 3 hours we were there and they all wished they could stay open longer (closed at 5...boo hoo). If you are planning a visit to Puerto Rico or you live on the island and have never been I would say this is a must see if you have kids under 15 (or even over if they like go cart racing). We did get to try everything here but did feel a little rushed towards the end.
This museum is excellent for the children. We already been a couple of times and there is always staff around to ensure the place is kept neat and to answer questions. My daughter loves this place. The airplane tour was enjoyable. We have been to better Go-Karts in US, but there are no many options in PR, yet its still fun for kids and adults. The Museum is clean and nicely displayed educational centers. They also have a huge playground in the back of the museum. That is what the kids prefers. We will definitely go back.Tip: If you go with a group (13 or more) you get a $2 discount per ticket.
My boys loved it. Everything was hands on and very clean and spacious. Had go-karts and a retired plane to simulate a flight. Good value for the venue. Will visit when we return to PR. Only issue is parking, its on a lot and forces you to cross a very heavily congested road to get to the venue.
I recently moved here to pr and i wanted to find a nice place to take my kids to have fun like i did back.in the U.S. Pricing was ok not to bad, i do agree with some others that there shoukd be someone there to do a tour or just be around to answer questions. I found that it would help ppl learn more because the solor system was neat but spent some time to figure out all the different button options and what they did. I loved everything here other than if your going to have stations to make airplanes, or build cars to race to make it available. I will have to come back for. sure i felt like we rushed through a lot so we could see everyting that id want to come back for more great fun.bad side was staff though some cared and some didnt, the ticket lady wouldn't get off the phone and same with the security.
We went on a week day (Friday). We had to wander around by ourselves as there was no staff around to show the kids the "how too". They had a paper plane station and there was no paper, I asked a woman in the area for paper and she replied that there was no paper. There was a station for kids to "build cars" and there was no parts, so I asked the same lady for the parts, and she said the parts have been stolen. My kids enjoyed it, but I think that the price is too high for what you really get.
This museum is great for kids ages 4 to 15. Kids younger or older will get bored after an hour. The museum has one building with 2 floor of exhibits and outside a go-karts race track ($5 for minutes) and one American Airlines aircraft (open to go in and see). My son enjoyed all the exhibits indoor and outdoors, and had a blast! We even lost trak of the time (5 hours total visit). I'll say that the entrance fee is on the fair side: $10 adults and $5 children. Bathrooms are clean and the A/C is a huge plus :-) Parking is $2 and less than 5 walk :-( Here is my point system (1 to 5 where 1 is terrible and 5 excellent) for the food we ordered:1. Exhibits=52. Bathrooms=53. A/C=10 :-)4. Easy-to-find=45. Open hours=56. Parking=37. Security=58. Overall cleanliness=5 9. Personnel=510. Entrance fee=411. Go-kart=1012. AA aircraft=513. Cafeteria=2 (too expensive for what they offer) Here are my reasons: ·Coffe=2 (not fresh made brewed coffee but machine made)·Pizza=1 (thing crust and no flavor)·Nuggets=3 (they where oj)·Fries=3 (a bit under cooked)·Burger=2 (made by the order but cold by the time it was served)·Drinks=2 (no refill)This museum is a must.Just don't go to the cafeteria.
