Highly recommended. Our Tour Guide Melba was outstanding - she was so informative and friendly. A fantastic experience that our family will not forget.
An incredible experience, unlike anything we'd experienced before. We appreciated the security measures that were taken to keep our group safe and the knowledgeable crew that led the outing. Have already recommended this experience to other friends. Thanks again for a great time!
They have really experienced people who help you throughout the tour. It was very interesting all the explanation about the Bioluminescent Bay. I'd do it again !
My boyfriend and I did this the last weekend in December 2014. We went during the earlier hour, which at first I was not thrilled about (I wanted the later 7pm launch). However, I am thankful we did the earlier time because we were able to get instructions and see where we were going during daylight. When it came time to getting into the bay it was completely dark and we could see everything. The guides were excellent and the instructions to get in and the explanation while we were on the tour where extremely thorough. The only reason why I did not give 5 stars was due to the traffic in the river to get to the bay. It was very difficult and scary. Even when following directions of our leaders to stay right, on-coming traffic was on "our side" - they shouldn't allow that many tours out there at one time. Overall great experience and would recommend and do again!
We had a fantastic time with this company. As a local said to us, "They know their business and take it seriously." We loved the great organization, information, and of course Laguna Grande. I'd highly recommend Enchanted Island Eco Tours!
The tour is well organized. Good guide/tourist ratio, well arranged timing, and all the staff were very nice, helpful and also fun! The tour was so fun that we felt 2 hrs on the water passed like in 30 minutes!
The staff for this toure was awesome and really organized, you could definately see the difference in the groups, ours was the only one in a single line with our guide leading the way and making sure no one was left behind. The best time to go is sunset becuase you see the amazing view and once you paddle to the bay you get to see the awesome glow! highly reccomend this tour!
The view is fantastic. And the guides are really helpful and nice. It's overall a very pleasant tour.
I went with my 9 year year daughter and she loved it! You need to be in shape as it's a long walk. At the waterfall we had many people waiting to bathe so we didn't go in afterall. We were with the Explorer of the Seas excursion so we needed to get back for the departure, but it would've been Nice to be able to stay longer. The guide was well knowledged, and we were provided backsacks with a snack and water. A must see!
My friends and I all agree that it's an amazing trip! Staffs are all very nice and patient. At first I was little afraid the dark but then I really enjoy the view of the bio bay. You can not miss it.
It was amazing to see the bioluminescent bay in the night that has little wind. As a first time learner of kayaking, I did not feel afraid at all. The crews were very knowledgable, helpful and considerate. It assured 2 hours in the water, and it focused on nature beauty, wellness and FUN! You will feel it totally worth the price and time.
The guide provided lots of good information about the ecosystem of El Yunque as we traversed the narrow but well-paved trail on the way to the waterfall. The pace, though, was far too slow on the way out, and way too fast on the way back. The walk to the waterfall consisted of mostly standing around and listening to the guide, interspersed with short strolls to the next position of interest. On the way back, though, we were really "hoofing" it, and I struggled to keep up, never mind to look around. The waterfall itself was beautiful, but the area around it was very crowded and the rocks quite slippery. Some in our group took a short swim in the pool at the base of the falls, but there really wasn't much room and you'd have to be ready to go when you arrived, do a quick "in and out" and be really careful getting around. The tour is very well organized, with water, snacks and towel provided. You'll need the towel - just to mop up all the sweat! Beware, though... you need to be in fairly good condition to enjoy this "walk".
A few of the skating cast from the Explorer of the Seas went on this shore excursion and it was really cool! We loved swimming in the river and walking through the beautiful rainforest! Our guide was enthusiastic and really knew his stuff - thank you guys!
My Wife and I truly enjoyed the amazing rainforest experienceThe Guide was very informative and spent the time to show & explain our group all about the rainforest of the island of Puerto Rico The dip in the waterfall was a very nice add on and gave us the time to appreciate the scenery It was not dangerous but a little treacherous because it had sprinkled and was slippery in spots but the guide was always aware of the spots and cautioned us
My husband and I really enjoyed this trip. Our guide is super friendly and was incredibly knowledgeable about the rainforest, and also very happy to talk about Puerto Rican life. He showed us all sorts of plants and we even found red spiders, freshwater shrimp, and some frog eggs. Timing: our cruise was about an hour late disembarking, and because there is over an hour drive to get to and from the rainforest (or more in bad traffic), this was the only thing we were really able to do in Puerto Rico (our Cruise had 8 hours scheduled at Puerto Rico).
