A place you must visit. Really nice historic house. BeautifulSetting. Right in the middle of the city.

You don't have to pay to enter its free. The museum has a lot of history of the city of San Sebastian. It even has a great city view.

We went on a Tour of San Sebastian Puerto Rico. It is a 45 minutes car ride from our residence in Manati, Puerto Rico, about one hour and a half from San Juan. We had made a previous arrangement with the Tourism Office of San Sebastian. We visited the sports complex, Hacienda Santa Fe, the Municipal archives, and the crown jewel of the tour - the San Sebastian Museum of History, also known as Casa Doña Bisa. A 1914 "Casona" or Estate House belonging to the last Spanish Mayor of San Sebastian, Don Manuel Rodriguez Cabrero, father of Maria Luisa Rodriguez-Rabell or Doña Bisa. The house was purchased in 2008 to the descendants of Doña Bisa and superbly renovated by 2013. The interiors of the house with furnishings from the era are an example of what was life back then. The dining room with its table set as if waiting for dinner to be served, the beautiful chandeliers. wooden floors. I recommend this side trip to the interior and historical town of San Sebastian. The Municipality should be proud of the final product of this restoration! Definitely recommend this attraction.
