two sisters cave

Ok so far. Can be a bit scary at times. If you put yur mind all into it.but I love adventure so am much happy now.

Found this lovely spot past Hellshire. It's not so well marked but there are pink road signs if you look carefully. We got there in the afternoon which was probably good- I can imagine it gets quite hot. It cost $200 Jamaican. After you pass through the gate you walk up a short hill and are met by a guide. The cave is called an open cave. Apparently the roof caved in around 1600. You go down a series of wooden walkways/steps ( so you need to be ok to do some stairs!). There is a west side and an east side. There is water in the cave that is a beautiful colour. One side is quite brackish and the other side was more clear. Apparently there are underground channels that connect it to the sea. The park is well maintained and the guide was very nice and informative. Glad I went!
