We went with sail Provo on our first Turk's visit 4 years ago. It was so awesome . we snorkeled on a reef and walked an island covered in iguanas. We had 8 in our group fro, 6 months to 70 years old and no one ever felt concerned. The crew did an awesome job taking care of us again this year with our party of 9. They even anchored by a shallower area so our children now 3 and 5 could enjoy their first snorkel in the ocean without fear of deep water.Hats off to Sail Provo. We can't wait to book with you again.
This was wonderful with a fun crew. Rum punch, beer, water, wine, soda. Later cheese and crackers. We'll worth the $$. Get some island history and a beautiful sunset.
Wonderful cruise with an absolutely stunning sunset! Enjoyed an awesome crew who served delicious Turks Head beer, wine and rum punch. Very enjoyable!
We loved our sunset tour with Sail Provo! The crew were very helpful getting everyone fitted with snorkling equipment and plying us with pitchers of rum punch and chips and salsa. The snorkling was incredible with reefs close to our flippers and a variety of fish all around us.We made a stop at Iguana Island but were a little put off by the $8 per adult fee. The crew had us pay them, (we gave them a $20 for two adults and weren't given change). However, the experience was worth it for our seven year old who had iguana's coming right up to him. Great trip with wonderful company, we'd do it again in a heartbeat!
It was our thirtieth wedding anniversary and our 5 grown children took us to Turks. My daughter rented a three hour early am sailing trip through Sail Provo. We were the only ones on the boat which made it quite special. Everyone with Provo was very friendly. Captain Rock and his two other crew members greeted us and took us on a short trip to Iguana island- we got off and walked this tiny uninhabited island- everyone found this fascinating-bring your camera. We then went out to the barrier reef for snorkeling . Their boat is set up to just walk an inclined ladder into and out of the water. The snorkeling was fantastic. My son had a Gopro and the shots were awesome. We got back on the boat and the captain had ice cold drinks and snacks waiting for us. It was the highlight of our trip and I'm glad we did it. would highly recommend this outfit
We booked five adults for the two-hour sunset cruise. Our captain, Rock, and his team did a great job of making us feel like family. Dario was especially nice and helpful, it was our first visit to Provo and he gave us great ideas of restaurants and things to do.The staff and experience was great, so we'd go again with SailProvo in a heartbeat!
Sail Provo is exactly what you would hope for in an island boat tour experience. Clean and well maintained boats, reasonable prices, and an amazing and charming crew. We had the best time on our sunset cruise on Christmas Eve, punctuated by getting to know several of the locals manning the boat. I would definitely recommend a Sail Provo tour for anyone of any age, well worth the money!
Multiple emails before coming, to arrange a day and time for us and for them for a day trip; told every time that all was set and all was arranged and to be in place for the day and time arranged. Had to arrange dive trips for 2 of us to fit in the day trip for all 4. Now I am told OH no, we set you up for ANOTHER day, that I had my days/dates wrong. This seems to be a recurring theme here in Providenciales; your reservation means very little if they get a better deal from someone else, you are out. Next year I take my business to another island, and will not be coming back here. This was done by restaurants, dive and snorkel groups and I have NEVER had this on any other island in 40 years. Good by sail provo. Anyone asks, go somewhere else, preferably another island.
We came in from the beach early to get ready for the sunset cruise. About an hour prior to the scheduled pickup they called and told us they were having problems with the boat. You can't get mad about that except we saw the Sail Provo boat sailing about an hour later. I'm guessing they didn't have enough booking to justify the trip but it did cost us a half of a day that we could have enjoyed on the beach. They made no effort to book us on something different or suggest any alternatives.
My husband and I signed up for the sunset cruise the first whole day in Provo. As newlyweds, we wanted an extra excuse to relax and spend time in the sunset! We are so happy we signed up to sail with Sail Provo! The staff picked us up at our resort lobby. We were one of four couples on the tour!! The captain was great and his second, Dario, was fantastic! We listened to some Caribbean tunes, drank the famous rum punch and Turkshead beer while mingling with a great group of people. We found the boat,a 40ft catamaran sailboat, to be very clean and well kept! We were allowed to sit right on the nets of the catamaran and anywhere else on the boat but as a fan of sitting up in front, I felt this detail worth mentioning! The tour was supposed to be from 3-5 but since the sunset was a bit hidden by overcast, our captain kept us out to see the full sunset and we weren't back at our resort until 6:15!!! All in all, we loved every second of the tour we had with Sail Provo! We were spoiled with excellent service, a wonderful view and great people! Defiantly a must do for any couple, group or family!
Sail Provo on a catamaran to the Barrier Reef to snorkel and then to Half Moon Bay for a beach picnic with some of Captain Jay's jerk chicken and fresh fruit, salad, sandwiches, cookies and whatever beverage you desire. This was one of the best sail's we have been on. The scenery was just splendid, the Captain, Jay, and his mate, Roland, were so hospitable and couldn't do enough to make our day pleasant. We were picked up in a van to set sail near the Blue Haven and dropped off on the beach of our hotel. It was a delightful day of 3-4 hours and an outstanding value for the fare.We had one other stop to Iguana Island before snorkeling and it was great to see that island preserved like all the Caicos were and Iguanas running free right under your feet. Worth the small entrance fee that goes toward the natural preserve. The entire half day 10:00-2:00 was beautiful, entertaining, relaxing and a must do while staying on Grace Bay.
We enjoyed a sunset cruise with the Sail Provo crew tonight. It was beautiful and the staff were all so friendly and caring. We did this on our last night of vacation and I have to say it was the perfect ending to our vacation.
Did a sunset cruise as part of our last night in Providenciales. Very beautiful and relaxing as we just sailed the northwest end of the island and watched a beautiful sunset while sipping rum punch. Very relaxing and very enjoyable. Included in the package was taxi pickup and dropoff at our hotel.
My husband and I enjoy a nice sailing adventure when we travel and when I asked the concierge at the Gansevoort for their recommendation on a sailing trip, they immediately suggested Sail Provo's Sunset Cruise. They cautioned that, since it was still the off season, they would need to check to ensure that the cruise had enough people to sail. Once confirmed, they booked the reservation for us and scheduled the pick up time at the hotel. The van picked us up right on time (there were 3 other couples also sailing from the Gansevoort) and we stopped off at the Seven Seas to pick up the remaining couples. The captain gave us a quick rundown on the trip and the vessel and we were off. Treated to rum punch and local beers, we had a beautiful trip! The snacks (chips, salsa, pretzels) were what you would expect from a trip like this - not extravagant. We weren't there for the food - we were there for the beauty of the trip. The sunset that evening did not disappoint. Everyone had a wonderful time.On the return trip, the driver dropped people off at other locations (restaurants, etc.) as they requested and took the rest of us back to our hotels. We felt the price paid and the experience were well worth it.
My family took the morning half day sail with lunch. There were four adults in our party. We first tried to book the sunset sail but they could not guarentee it would go out because they did not have enough people signed up. I was a bit disappointed but chose to do the morning and lunch trip since I definately wanted to go out sailing before we left the island. I am so glad we went as it really was the highlight of our vacation. The boat left at 9:30 am and first went to an area to snorkel. The snorkling was great and the equipment they provided was clean and well maintained. After snorkling we headed over to Iguana Island for a quick walk around which was beautiful and quite interesting. Then we were called back onto the boat for lunch. Lunch was comprised of sandwiches and barbequed chicken, fresh lettuce salad and fresh fruit. There was plenty of food and it was all very delicious. Throughout the trip they had beer, soda and rum punch. The catamaran was very spacious and clean. The captain of the boat was extremely friendly and gave us alot of island history and suggestions on things to do. We had a perfect trip and I would highly recommend Sail Provo.
