We camped with our travel trailer. The park was well patrolled and virtually no noise during the daytime and also none at night.

Despite the fact that we live in Brighton, we often camp during the summer weekends at the Park and have never been disappointed. We enjoy all the trails especially the Boardwalk. The beaches are normally good although occasional high bacteria counts do develop due to wind conditions. And, don't forget the lighthouse... it needs some work to preserve it and is definitely worth the costs to do so. Thank goodness, there is a group interested in doing so.

There were a few things that disappointed us with this park, starting with the gross beach. It was truly, really bad and gross. We set out to spend a full day at the beach on the Saturday, only to come back an hour later. It was a muddy, bird poop gross beach. I've read the other reviews and some people say it was only like that this year, I don't know, this was our first time, but a really turn-off, since we booked this second weekend of August looking forward to swimming and beach time. The second thing I didn't enjoy was that our campsite wasn't very private and that it was a bit loud/noisy/lots of traffic. We were in the Trails End site 392 which I believe are all sites with electrical service, which was probably why we were the only people tent camping in the site, and maybe why the sites were less private. If going back I would try one of the non-serviced sites in hopes that they were more quiet/less lights at night. This parc was also very busy, and I would qualify it as more family friendly than other parks I've been too. We did enjoy swimming in Lake Ontario accross the road from where we were camping at Trails End. We weren't sure if this is actually allowed, but there were a few others there and the water there was clean compared to the beaches. We ended up spending most of our weekend hanging out on the lake close to Trails End. We did check out the Lighthouse, boardwalk and a trail; lots of activities to do, but don't go with just the beach in mind.

I am so fortunate to live very close to this Park. I walk five miles three times a week with a group of girlfriends. The trails are great...the scenery is breathtaking along the water.

This is one of the nicest Provincial Parks in Ontario with campgrounds, beaches, picnic facilities, an historic Lighthouse with a wonderful Gift Shop/Learning Centre. I am fortunate to have a cottage on Presquiile , which dates back to 1920. There are many year-round homes on Presqui'ile as well and the Friends of Presqui'ile association do a wonderful job of ensuring that the residents maintain the conservational attitude towards the land and water and their inhabitants at all times. During camping season, there a lots of family activities, and special events. Right now come and visit the historic Christmas at Presqui'ile. Check it out on Brighton.com. You won't regret the visit - it feeds your soul.

I'll be honest, I buy a season pass to the provincial parks every year. Presqu'ile is very close to my home. I buy the pass because it is one of the best provincial parks to visit for day trip. Great Beach, accessible toilets and showers, nature trails, wheel chair accessible scenic marsh boardwalk, bike paths, friendly staff, lighthouse, educational centre, kite-boarding, bird watching, deer, great views of the lake, picnic areas...I'm sure I forgot something. There is also camping for tents to large trailers and group sites. Some are powered.Only 15 min off the 401, so very easy access as you don't have to travel to far off a main road.It's...Awesome.

This park offers everything. Great walking and biking routes. Bird watching, camping, swimming, summer programs for children and adults and the most beautiful scenery in the area. Also one of the best craft shows for Chirstmas at Presqu'il.

A lovely area of dunes, woodland and wetland sticking out into Lake Ontario. A wonderful spot to watch birds and other wildlife. Also a great location to walk cycle or just relax.

Beautiful sceneries of parks and lakeshore. Visit Christmas as Presqu'ile in early November and find beautiful artisan treasures.

My sweetie and I went camping here in the last week of Sept. We arrived Sat, and had to make a short detour through Brighton, as a festival had closed some streets. The park was easy to find, and check-in was courtious and efficient. Our site was well screened from the others, and steps from the shore, with ample room, and facilities not too far away. After labour day, some of the facilities are shut down, such as showers, but there are others not too far away. The park has several beautiful walking trails, and there is never a lack of anything to do, or not do, if that's your preference. We stayed the Sunday night, and it was remarkable how many people cleared out, we almost had the park to ourselves. A lovely experience.

This is a fabulous park. Lots of wild life. Deer, waterfowl. Close to Brighton for stores and restaurants. Good camping and fiahing

beautiful campground with fantastic views. Sites are large. The downside to this camping experience: no water on site. Very windy if on the bluff (not tent or tent trailer friendly on those sites).

This park has many beautiful trails. The boardwalk trail is scenic and there are also trails through the woods and one at the lighthouse. There is a visitor centre at the lighthouse which is very interesting if you like history. The campgrounds have some nice views. Most are close to the lake. In response to a previous comment about the beach being poorly maintained by the park, Lake Ontario is widely known to be inappropriate for swimming, and simply can't be "cleaned". To expect the park to take responsibility for this is absurd. This park is great for bird watching, camping, and hiking. And it is very close to town if you need supplies.

This is one of the most beautiful campsites we have been to. The place is quite full with campers and they offer a lot of activities. There are a lot of trails (boardwalk trail is beautiful during sunset). There was a ton of mosquitoes on one of the trails to see the where the birds are, so watch out for that. We were literally covered in mosquitoes and ran threw the whole trail. The beach is nice, but there were warning signs of high bacteria levels on our campsite, so we had to be careful with the water and boil it for a longer period of time. I did notice a foul smell from the beach area. I would suggest going into the water from the campsite near the rocky area. The campsites are really nice with decent privacy. If you get a campsite near the shower area it would be better, otherwise you will have to drive to the showers. I loved how they did a bbq for all campers the weekend we went and other activities.
