I bought a horse from TJ Stables and boarded him there. They always stressed safety and I was occasionally scolded for forgetting some rule. I initially admired their dedication to safety.Their Trail is nice and the indoor arena is a plus in bad weather. The setting is picturesque. However, a broken arm is no fun. I went there one day with three other riders and there was no notice of any kind that they had hired a Bobcat (a small machine like a bulldozer) to do something in the stalls which are directly attached to the arena where we were riding. All the doors of the arena were open and my horse and I came face to face with the Bobcat when it zoomed out of the stalls with the driver not looking. Naturally my horse spooked, did a 180 degree turn and I came off and broke my upper arm. We should have been notified in advance that there was to be a piece of equipment that the horses were unfamiliar with. This accident could have been prevented. One of the owners and I had a misunderstanding that had nothing to do with this incident and she asked me to leave and take my horse with me which I did. As for the K-9 Coral it is a very good place to board dogs. We used the Coral frequently, and our dogs were well taken care of. However we had a reservation for our dog for the time we were to be away on an extended vacation and when the owner asked me to leave she also said she would not take the dog any more. We had to find a new stable for the horse and a new kennel for the dog, over a weekend with 4 days notice prior to departure. To add insult to injury instead of cashing a monthly cheque that my husband regularly donated to the Acceptional Riders Program she returned the cheque uncashed.Having been in business for myself for most of my adult life, I find this an unacceptable way to run a business, or administrate a charity and a shabby way to treat clients.

My mom asked me to close my eyes on the drive here, and she surprised me with an afternoon of horseback riding! The staff was super duper friendly and attentive, the horses were well mannered and the ride was peaceful and fun. My only complaint was that the saddle I used was new, making the stirrups point in an uncomfortable direction and my knees were in such pain only 10 minutes into the hour. Management was apologetic and immediately got to weathering the new saddles for the next morning. Would visit again and again!

Our five year old grandson is participating in a weekly class at TJ Stables. He loves it there. The staff is outstanding dealing with clients and it's such a beautiful location with paths, shade trees, a pond, gazebo and many smaller animals wandering about. They can host weddings, schools, birthdays, etc. and it is the headquarters for the famous "Canadian Cowgirls" of Rose Bowl and Calgary Stampede fame. And it's affordable if you would like your children to experience riding a horse or pony in a safe setting with competent and friendly instructors.

TJ Stables is a great place to enjoy a day with the family. They have everything needed for a great farm experience. Riding on the trail in the woods with our guide was the high light of or summer. We have also kept or dog in their k-9 correl. My dog loves it there. The kennels are heated and air conditioned. I know they play with them and treat them with love as my dog is very excited when we are getting his things together for his vacation with all his furry friends. I would recommend TJ Stables in a heart beat. They are a 10 on my list and my dogs.

TJ stables is a great spot if love horses. They have trails through the woods (for riding); camps for children; a place for birthday parties; riding to help people with handicaps. Their Canadian Cowgirls riding team are famous at things like Calgary Stampede and the Rose Bowl parade.

I took my daughter and her friend for a half hour pony ride. My daughter thought Mickey and Dobber the two ponies we had to ride were fun. The staff who helped us was very pleasant and gave us clear instructions about how to walk the ponies around the trails and how to deal with their temperaments if they gave us any attitude during. We had a big laugh when first Mickey decided to stop for a pee, then Dobber stopped to go poop and then Mickey decided he needed to poop and then finally Dobber decided he would pee before either pony let us get started on our ride. After our ride was done we also got to look around that barn at other horses and animals and there was also a cool mini-house, a titer-toter and neat giant rocking horse to play on.All in all it was a good time for two young girls who like ponies.
