We took the grandchildren and headed off to McMaze for the day. It was an amazing and exciting! twin 3 year olds and a one year old had so much fun. The staff are so friendly and extremely helpful. The farm animals were their favourite. The day we were there baby pigs were being born. We arrived at 11am planning to stay for about an hour or so and ended up we left at 4pm! With pumpkins under each arm and our supply of homemade pumpkin fudge .. we headed home. We will be back.

We went the Sunday of Thanksgiving weekend, needing an outdoor activity that would interest kids aged 2 to15yrs (and some restless adults). It was a glorious autumn day, sunny and mild, and this was the perfect place to enjoy the good weather. Located on a farm near Cornwall, Ont, it's a little over an hour from Montreal. Admission was 12$ each and well worth it since we spent almost 3hrs there. The staff/family that run the the place are all very friendly and laid-back - adding to the enjoyment of the place. The kids loved the farm animals - big pigs and new piglets, peacocks, barn kittens, goats, ducks and llamas and more. Took turns milking a mock-cow. The littlest ones enjoyed a ride on the pony wagon. We did 4 of the 5 mazes. Haze maze was good for little kids - dark, but with enough light coming through cracks and not too challenging. Door maze was surprisingly thrilling for the older kids, with sections dark enough that they had to feel their way around. Tall Grass maze was short and quite a pretty setting (for photos). The Corn maze was great. The kids all got pleasantly lost and the dozen trivia questions added a challenge for competitive adults. The zombie walk through the woods to the haunted barn was a fun freak show of mannequin mutilations and sacrificial decoy animal slayings etc. It actually offered a quiet break from activities. The exciting ride on the Gator train is not to missed.Food and snacks are available at reasonable prices with a picnic area. Clean port-o-toilets on site.

The McMaze has a lot to offer children and families during the day. There are animals galore, various interactive stations, pony rides, wagon rides, and pumpkin picking. They have different mazes for kids of all ages (grass maze, corn maze, door maze). The family has worked hard to build the property up with tons of things to do. It is safe and friendly. The haunted night maze is also great for older kids.

We had never heard of this place, but we saw a TeamBuy coupon so we bought it. This place is 1 hour away from Ottawa and is very easy to find. The staff there is extremely warm and friendly. They told us many fun things about the farm and its animals. Due to the cold and rainy weather, we had to wait indoors sometimes to wait for the rain to stop. In spite of all this, the day was still very fun because we got to see a lot of animals. What made this farm so special is that different kinds of animals all seemed to get along together (e.g. chicken and rabbits living together, ducks and pigs eating together.) The animals were very friendly and didnt seem to be afraid of humans. There were goats, llamas, donkeys, horses, sheep, cats, dogs, etc.! The corn maze, which is one of the main attractions, was fun and sufficiently difficult. There were also trivia questions hidden within the maze for you to answer. There was a long grass maze and another indoor maze. We participated in the pig race. This was fun because volunteers needed to open and close doors at certain points to let the pigs through the obstacle course. We went for a wagon ride as well to the pumpkin patch. There are benches and tables as a picnic area for those who want to snack. (There are light snacks sold here as well, like pumpkin donuts!) The staff gave us bread to feed the fish and ducks in the pond. It was such a fun day, and we loved the wildlife there! We bought some corn before leaving.

This was a neat find for a day with nothing planned. They have a huge corn maze and a good size tall grass maze. There are lots of farm animals and activities for little kids. There are lots of tables for a picnic or food can be purchased onsite. It was a bit pricey at $10 per person, but on a nice day you could easily spend a few hours here. I bet it would be great in the fall or close to Halloween.
