Kerr Village is an eclectic, fun place with a lot of variety in the shops. Far removed feeling from old Oakville pretension or suburban sprawl. Nice little restaurants like Gingerman and Stoney's and all the eclectic shops are sprucing the place up and it's a shame most of Oakville still thinks of it poorly. It will be really interesting to see what happens once the condos are done.

Live and work within the Kerr Village, great restaurants, enjoy the atmosphere and shops. An up and coming destination for those who like non pretentious but excellent service and delicious foods.

I lived off of Kerr St for 3 years and there's some good restaurants and community activities like the Santa Claus parade but it's got a long way to go to be considered an "attraction". Downtown Oakville on Lakeshore is an attraction.

A great area to go for a stroll, in a very eclectic neighbourhood. Boffo`s, Stoney`s, JAC`s and Olivo Fresco are my go-to`s in this area.

I love this area of town - reminds me a bit of an edgier Toronto neighbourhood, with lots of ethnic restaurants and eclectic stores. My personal favourite spots: Stoney's Bread Company and Forster Park. The other reviews mention that it is a "disadvantaged area", but let's get real - this is Oakville, hardly a rough area - our crime rate is ridiculously low. The neighbourhood is a refreshing change from the overly-yuppified Downtown Oakville.

This isn't the best part of town for Oakville but they certainly are trying to improve over the years. It is zoned as a Business Improvement Area plus has its own Village Constable from the Halton Regional Police Service. Despite their best efforts the Kerr Street Ministries is located in this area to deal with the 'disadvantaged" in the area. I still like to drive in this area when I am going to downtown Oakville to see what is going on here.

Kerr Village is steadily improving - its good now but has the potential to be even better. Great alternative to downtown Oakville. Excellent range of stores and cafes

Some antique/collectibles aren't open on Sundays, a few storefronts are open, some turnover. It is always in change, not quite there. Not a tourist stop.
