I took my friend there to see the Ladies Foursome. I was quite surprised at the quality of the show for a local theatre. The seats were good in all directions. I absolutely loved the show. We laughed continuously. The actors were wonderful. Great show and venue.
An excellent play by Norm Foster, well acted with subtle contemporary humour about life. The acoustics, comfortable seats and excellent views of the stage in a small theatre ensures there is no bad seat in the house!
Thoroughly enjoyed the entire Theatre Orangeville experience. There are a few very good places to eat on the main street and the theatre quality (both acting and venue) are top notch, which made for a very enjoyable day. We saw The Ladies Foursome which was exceptional! We all laughed and cried a lot ... now that's a true sign of good theatre! Thank you Ladies and everyone at Theatre Orangeville. (Apparently, ice cream is a tradition on Sundays and we were lucky enough to enjoy it at intermission as we attended the 2 o'clock matinee).
If you're a lady, you'll love Ladies Foursome. Its funny, its witty, its heartfelt, its emotional, its like reality. The play is extremely well-cast!! The players are really believable and really funny...like some of my friends, for sure. Go if you can. The theatre is small. I had front row and loved it!!
What to do on a cold winter night? Well, how about catching a show at the theatre. Great value for the money and always an entertaining evening. All the seats seem to be great now matter where you're sitting.
The Young Company is astounding! I urge everyone to see a Young Company performance. These young actors and actresses will leave you wanting more!
We live close by and over the years, we've had the opportunity to go see all kinds of shows there. We really like Letters from Windfield and some of the concerts. Top it up with dinner across the street at the Blue Bird Cafe
I don't think there is a bad seat in the house. The theatre and musical events are very good and well attended. It is on the second floor, but there is an elevator for those with mobility issues.
Love this Theatre, have seen many plays here, always so much fun. I especially like the comedy with Norm Foster, writing and starring in the play. I find the Theatre very quaint, there is an elevator for those not able to take the stairs. Staff is always very friendly, and helpful.
For an amateur ensemble the show was well done. View of the stage was great. Seats were a little cramped for larger people.Parking can be a problem
Theatre productions are always professional and there is not a bad seat in the theatre. The community fully supports this venue with volunteers and surrounding restuarants supplying goodies on opening night!
Cozy & quaint theatre that lends itself to a nice intimate experience. We have been to several productions and have enjoyed all of them.
Poignant writing. Well cast, believable sets, and the actors did a great job conveying the real life challenges and experiences of family life, particularly for those who grew up on farms, but also for those of us who listened to our grandparents' stories.
I have enjoyed several shows at Theatre Orangeville. The Production values and onstage talent never disappoint. The staff are friendly, the actors are talented the sets, costumes, lights and sounds are stunning. Seeing the Christmas show has become a family tradition over the past several years with relatives coming from Niagara Falls. We love Ice Cream Sunday! Looking forward to Team on The Hill! Keep up the good work Theatre Orangeville!
I took my mom and dad to the Theatre to see On A First Name Basis and we are absolutely loved it. The staff was great. The show was so clever. We plan on making it an annual event!thanks Orangeville
