columbus golf & country club

Columbus opened a few years ago and is still being shaped. There is no clubhouse but plans are in hand, I believe. Some of the staff could be a bit more courteous but, overall, they are fine. The cost to play is relatively good.The holes are quite diverse and some of them require tricky shots while other holes are quite straight forward.Columbus GC is well worth a visit.

Took a new golfer and his buddy to Columbus to have him experience a full length course, we played from the Blues which isn't overly long but a very good test... The boys liked the layout, the greens are the main attraction of the course as the fairways look to be normal backyard grass not "bent" but you can still hit off them just fine...Price was good and pace of play was great, the boys are looking forward to a return visit...

The guys and I have been out here pretty regularly over the years. The condition of the course is getting better and better. This summer when a lot of the other courses had their temporary greens from the icy winter, Columbus had their regular greens in good condition. All in all, we enjoy the course but most importantly it's a good time out with the guys. Tip: Play it short and stay out of the rough.

This is a challenging course but good for golfers of all levels. Their greens fees are never over the top...a good value.
