This was our first visit to the Regent Theatre and we were very pleasantly surprised to discover it is a nice gem and venue for any concert / show. It is centrally located in the downtown Oshawa area with easy access and a very hospitable staff. The prices are very reasonable. A theatre hall as nice as this is definitely worth visiting and supporting and we look forward to visiting the Regent again to see future shows. This George Harrison tribute show was performed by Jeremy Wright and his band, along with some special guests. The concert was an "A+." We also attended Jeremy's tribute show to Paul McCartney (at another venue) a few months earlier and thoroughly enjoy his tribute shows. He takes the time to mingle with the audience before and after shows. He is indeed a very talented musician and vocalist with a strong supporting cast of musicians.

We went to see the Elvis Christmas show and loved this venue. This was our first time at this theater and really enjoyed it

We attended an Elvis Tribute Show performed by Stephen (Kabakos) Michaels. He is one of the best in the business. We have been following him for 14 years and are great fans. The theatre is in downtown Oshawa, easy to get to, plenty of parking. They have a complete list of shows on their website. They also show old vintage movies each month. Tickets are always affordable and the shows are great.

This is owned and operated by UOIT and is a lecture hall during the day and offered as a venue for a variety of traveling shows and events along with vintage movies. There is usually bar service and the prices are very reasonable. It is worth a visit to see how well this early 1900s Vaudeville Hall.

Beautifully renovated and fantastic view and sound from any seat. Don;t let the fact that it is in Downtown Oshawa dismay you. The lobby is a bit small at intermission but other than that great spot.

We thoroughly enjoyed an evening with Randy Bachman at The Regent Theatre. The great acoustics, entertainment, and an intimate setting was the setting for a great evening listening to the life events that led to the creation of songs such as, These Eyes, American Woman, etc. so much fun and such an interesting life and career of a Canadian icon.

Being spoken to rudely & hung up on by box office staff is UNACCEPTABLE! Their online ordering system is archaic & the line that "there isn't a bad seat in the house" is a load of BS. Spend the extra $20 & go to Toronto!

The former movie theatre has been restored beautifully. I have recently visited the Regent Theatre to see pianist Anton Keurti and the Symphony. Both were wonderful and a pleasure to see. We are fortunate to have this talent brought to our city in this lovely theatre.

Thank goodness the local University took ownership of this historic building in downtown Oshawa. Back in the day it used to be the Regent Movie Theatre. Sadly, it was converted into various night clubs over the years. Luckily the University restored it to it's former vintage glory. It is now a pleasure to visit. The raised stage is easily viewed from any seat in the house. Offers a comfortable atmosphere with very good acoustics. Check their website as they have many concerts and events. Just sit back, melt into your chair and enjoy the show!

I remember going here as a child to see movies and always loved it here. When I had to opportunity to visit again after the restoration, I jumped at it. I was there for the Oshawa Symphony and not only was the inside very well redone, but the sound was great! I will definitely go again!

I went to see Simply Queen at the Regent. The band was amazing, as it was as close to a Queen concert as you'll ever get (I saw Queen three times in concert).Although the venue is small, it's perfect for an intimate time with whoever may be on stage. The seats are good, no matter where you sit. Even the front row doesn't mean your head is titled all the way back to look up.I'm looking forward to seeing another band play here. I am hoping that someone will book Classic Albums Live.

This theatre holds about 800 people. It has been fully renovated. We have seen Matt Dusk here twice among others. The acoustics are good, the entrance area is a bit small so during intermission it can get a little crowded but it is a great place to see a show or singer. Even the back rows feel like you are close. Looking forward to seeing more shows here, Especially Stephen Kabakos...ETA
