thousand island pleasure diving

I have dove with most of the operators in the Thousand Island area, Thousand Island Pleasure Diving is hands down the most professional, reliable, well run operator of them all. The boats are built tough for divers, the ladders are great, very easy to use with, or without, fins on.

I have dove with this outfit once a year for the last five. Their service is outstanding. The boats are great, easy in and out. The wrecks are awesome, if you haven't dove the St. Lawrence wrecks you are missing great diving.

Si prende un' imbarcazione abbastanza grande, con una parte aperta e una chiusa con le vetrate, da cui si possono vedere le tante isole, grandi e piccole, che affiorano tra il lago Ontario e il fiume San Lorenzo. È curioso vedere come i proprietari delle isole le abbiano usate per crearvi la loro residenza estiva, chi in un palazzo, chi in una casa normale. Alla fine del giro, di circa un'ora, siamo andati a pranzo nel ristorante adiacente al pontile di attracco e non ci siamo trovati per niente bene, il cibo era di scarsa qualità e il servizio pessimo, a partire dai piatti sporchi e le cameriere annoiate.
