The Iroquois complex has 6 ice rinks, 2 pools, and a number of tennis courts, soccer fields and baseball diamonds. Over the years we have been here for a variety of reasons - hockey games, swimming lessons, recreational club meetings and most recently fitness training at Elite Training Systems. The facility always seems to have something going on. There are snack bars and a restaurant as well. The parking lot is huge and doubles as overflow parking for the Whitby GO Station across the street.
Great community centre for Whitby. Lots of Parking and always very busy. Had wings at the sports garden bar and they were only so so.
When my friends and I arrived we were sat at a table with what had to have been a full order of fries on the floor. The tables were cleaned in front of us with a filthy rag. I had to ask the waitress got a clean cloth and some cleaning supplies to actually clean the table. She rolled her eyes and reluctantly did it. The food was ok but nothing special. The service however was horrible. People at the table had to get up and find the waitress several times for refills and requests.
This facility has 6 ice pads, at least 2 ball diamonds, a newly renovated pool, skate park and climbing equipment. Parking is adequate unless a special event is going on. There is a food service area, that has most foods you'd want, a Pizza Pizza and a restaurant. The only complaint is arena 1, the largest arena, is a little dated, with terrible access to half the dressing rooms and seating areas. All other arenas are nice and bright, with decent size dressing rooms and ample seating for spectators for regular events.
Very clean - very nice place to visit - Multiple rinks and great little restaurants within! Swimming pool - Soccer Fields and lots of parking - RIGHT across the street from the Whitby GO station. This is a destination place - You would be going for a reason - Not something you would pop in for a visit.
This is a great sports facility, 6 hockey rinks, lacrosse, pool, baseball diamonds and soccer field. Lots of parking. A great venue for sports.
I am whitby resident for past 25year.My family has used the facility for swimming lessons, big pool etc., many other sports available, hosts many tournaments , large outdoor facilities for baseball, skateboard park etc . Have just recently added state of the art accessible centre called the abilities centre, large track, etc. Looks beautiful. NOt really for tourists unles down to watch a sport event.
one of the largest indoor sports complexes in the world, host numerous hockey tournaments, leagues (men women all ages) in a hockey crazy area. Not for a 'tourist visit' unless you are playing a sport or you would like to see minor hockey etc. There is a swimming pool etc too.
Was actually there in August 2012 for the Ontario Provincial lacrosse tournament. Great location with lots of history....The wall of honor is more than expected.Nice bar and restaurant.Plenty of parking.............

Iroquois Park Sports Centre is an excellent, large, recently updated sports facility. It has several ice rinks available for practices and hosts the Whitby Hockey Team. It also has a full sized swimming pool and a sports cafe.Well worth the visit for nay visitors to Whitby.
Irqois is a sports complex providing swimming, ice facilities, restaurants and bars. My visits were with my family to play a variety of sports on the ice. AWESOME facility for serious and casual spots enthusiasts.
Host to the provincial lax every august - 6 rinks. We are there often and thru every season for hockey and lacrosseSpacious well looked after centre with a pool, personal training facility and camps run out of there all year for summer and specilaty .Very close to Whitby waterfront for a walk in between games and close to Whitby harbour Food choices are better than most facilities I have been to and there is a full serve restaurant we call pad 7 attached to the centre They are suppose to be renovating and adding more food options (better) so that's is tba - also attached to the new Abilities Centre a work out facility for all levels There is a training company between pad 5/6 Elite TrainIng Systems run by Mark who trains the Toronto Marlies as well as many other well known sports teams. This is definitely a facility with lots to offer in Whitby
Best tournament ever. Ya ya I know it is a festival not a tournament. Picture it. 100 teams with at least 10 to 20 players/coaches, plus parents and siblings. All playing hockey on 5 rinks over 3 days. The people that run this are awesome. Loved the games, loved the jewellery guy from Monkey business beads, loved Pixels photography service (Especially the incredible deal on the team package). They come back every year, and as long as my girls are playing hockey I will go there too. Thank you so much for such a great experience. PS don't go to the travel lodge oshawa they don't like having large groups of people that pay lots of money for their rooms.
