If you are in the Ottawa area and feel like a drive in the country, go visit smokie ridge vineyard. It's a family business and all hands are on deck. Danielle gave us a tour inside the winery, Debbie poured us a lot of amazing samples and Paul took us out on a golf cart to see the grapes growing. A super nice family and some delicious wines as well! It's about 45 minutes from Ottawa near a sign that says Mountain Ontario. It's also close to the rideau and about 1/2 hour from the quaint village of merrickville (another nice visit)
