It's all good. The one km boardwalk provides a view of the harbour, where you'll be sure to see sailboats and often a cruise ship. The children's play area is above average. If you play tennis, the tennis courts -- sheltered beautifully by old elms and maples -- are as fine as any outdoor courts in Canada. Buy yourself an ice cream at the adjacent shoppe after your match, and enjoy the view.
A walk around Victoria Park is the perfect ending to a meal. The boardwalk is easy on the knees and a gentle breeze keeps you cool. A visit to the gardens at Fanningbank completes the evening. My only complaint is that some dog owners do not scoop up after their pet or if they do they drop the "Baggie" along the walk
It took us a bit to find a parking spot, but after... it was so so nice. Take a bit of time and sit down on a bench and let the view sink in... it is so peaceful... quite a treat!
Give yourself two hours to walk the whole park, and in the neighborhood see the amazing residential architecture - you'll take endless pictures.
Nice place to visit on a sunny day, has a few cool trails for dogs and such, usually really peaceful, Also has a few good picnic places and parks for kids all around a chill spot in the town.
Early morning, everyone walks or jogs, their dogs taking a dip in the harbor. It's a wonderful park - safe and very PEI/ Catch a view of the Queen's Lt. Governor's mansion.
This is a nice park downtown near the water. I enjoyed the art sculpture and I did a little geocaching while there. Great place to relax.
We biked to Victoria Park from the cruise docks (rented bikes at Prince Edward Tours). There, you'll find public restrooms as well as dedicated bike paths. The 160 acres of open park are delightful.
Lots of very nice hiking trails in this park in the center of town. We were looking for something to do on our last day in NovaScotia. I'm so glad we tried this park
This was a surprise find! A really nice walk along the water. Felt like a click or two (1-2 km). Peaceful and restorative.
Something for everyone, especially family friendly. Borders the Charlottetown Harbour which boasts a well situated boardwalk. Lots of open space from which to contemplate the open harbour with cruise ships and sail boats dotting the horizon.
We were on a cruise ship and walked from the port through the town and then onto the boardwalk. The waterway was beautiful, with red limestone lining the wall. The lighthouse at the end was also nice. We walked back through the ark, which was beautiful as well. Have fun
great park and playground. the boardwalk along the ocean was great. watch for the sidewalk astronomer.
There isn't too much to see - it's mainly a boardwalk along the coast of the island, but it's a great place for relaxing and sitting on a bench to watch the sunset or to work off the calories after a good meal.
This park has it all located in downtown Charlottetown it has a wonderful boardwalk, childrens area, pool and splashpad for the little ones.
