Never been to this placebos a concert.minhave to say coming off a Hwy, and hitting a big roundabout is the most stupid way to move traffic to the centre. Parking was not properly set up, they had a hockey team, where people must have hated the parking.motherwise the inside was set up great. Acoustics were good, and if your getting drinks foodvetc... It's not xheap

Went here for a concert. Terrible sound!!! Acoustics were awful for a concert venue! Such a waste of money to see any event here. Won't be going back.

Went to see the Doobie Brothers on October 26, 2014. A rock concert is meant to be loud, no question, but I found the music quite "muddy". The Doobie Brothers are known for their wonderful harmonies, and this was not coming through clearly. These musicians are considerably talented, and that was obvious. We were seated in section 105, which is directly facing the stage, looking over the floor, behind the sound mixing area. I don't know what the problem was. I did enjoy the concert, just thought the sound could have been better.

We went to a concert at the Abbotsford Entertainment & Sports Centre last night. Security was awful. They were hauling away 50 - 60 year old women who just wanted to dance. The guys in the yellow security shirts were grabbing the lady dancers and shoving them up against the boards. I was so horrified, I forgot to get my camera out for evidence, but from what I saw there last night it was a complete over-reaction to harmless women who just wanted to celebrate. You should be ashamed for such poor security... Your layout was terrible, your sound system sucked - no wonder the locals are bummed out for wasting so much cash on this useless, soulless place. It felt like I was in East Russia.

Had fun to see a Heat game before they were moved to New York. Son loved the experience, similar to minor hockey in our home town. Got to be close to the players and he made it on the jumbo tron! Parking a little confusing, and when it's full to capacity it feels very small but overall a positive visit!

We like this place, but we are local. We have gone to several events there. It is too small for the monster trucks shows and wouldn't do that again. Also a bit small for Cirque Solie , but great for music concerts.

Very steep; no room to pass in seating, where are the RAILINGS? Very dangerous stairs and uncomfortable. Parking? where? and very pricey. I can't understand approving this new design. People fall like dominos. We left without seeing the show.

My husband and I attended a concert last week at the centre. We were impressed with the helpfulness of the staff. Unfortunately our view of the screen was blocked by the hanging speakers making it impossible to see much of the screen. The sound was good and we enjoyed the show.

So having checked online for available seats, calling the advertised number on the HEAT website we were told you have the wrong number- weve handed over bookings to ticketmaster call them! We called ticketmaster; the automated system took forever and after 15 minute hold of automated messages and music l actually spoke to a real person who was less animated than the automated system. She seemed to have difficulty understanding l wanted to watch the hockey. She seemed unfamiliar with the concept, l had t o explain myself 4 times what l wanted and where l wanted it. l eventually had to spell the name ..... A B B O T S FOR D .and the word H O C K E Y which was the final insult...so we gave up. No ticket sales from us this week. Surely there must be someone locally capable of handling booking.

Excellent facilities. It is great to watch professional hockey at this great arena. Great entertainment at a reasonable price.

wouldn't come here unless you were seeing a game or a show. It's not an architecturally interesting building, nor is there any history. But concerts and hockey games are a good value.

The centre is nice, however the parking (or lack of...) is a huge deterrent - I would expect parking issues in Vancouver, but not Abbotsford. The concession lineups are ridiculously slow - they really should consider increasing their staff levels in order to get people back to their seats to watch the event that they have paid for.

Went to the Reba concert last night and I was on the floor row 6 seat 23. Wow is all I can say. Up close and personal for real. Seat 23 is smack dab in the centre. It was a cozy place for a concert. I loved it. The lines were fast for food to pay but slow to actually get the hot dog plus it was burnt but I was hungry. The bathrooms were clean and well tended. I would go there again for an event. I have been to this centre for music concerts, great venue in the country. Nice not to have to drive into Vancouver and pay out rages parking fees. Plenty of parking. Sound system is great quality, good place to hear bands. I also have seen hockey here,no bad seats in the house and cheap bear!

At the last minute we had booked online in the early afternoon of 28 September 2012 two tickets for the John Fogerty concert. Actually we wanted to watch hockey game (Canucks), but unfortunately there was a long labor strike. Other guests from our hotel told us days before that all "John Fogerty concerts" in BC would be sold. We had good luck! We reached despite rush hour and giant construction sites on the highway from Vancouver to the concert hall in Abbotsford and even on time we found close free parking at the hall.JOHN FOGERTY - SEP 28 2012 at 07:30pm AESC ------------------------- ----------- --- -------- --------- ----------FULL PRICE FLOOR 2 69.50 10.75 160.50 = Total Cost 164.00 CADThe price is ok for a "rock legend"!For example: In July 2013, we paid in Stuttgart / Germany 200 € = 276 CAD for for two "Mark Knopfler" - tickets. We narrowly missed Mark Knopfler in Vancouver in October 2012.For a short period we parted, to take money from a cash machine and go back to the car and lost sight of each other. My daughter and I. Both, my daughter and I got so much help and support from the very friendly hall staff, which we never expected, and had never before experienced in this special friendly way worldwide in other concert halls. So many of the hall staff helped my daughter to find me. It was very noisy (background music) and I was at the other end of the hall because the credit card was stuck, Friday night. While an american couple standing at my side at the ATM and tried to pull the credit card from the machine, A search to find me was started. There was a happy ending. I got the credit card back. On the way down to the interior, I was often approached by hall staff that was looking for me.Yes, there were queues at the drink stands, but that is so common everywhere in the world for concerts. Everything was very well organized in the Abbotsford Entertainment & Sports Centre. The John Fogerty concert was great and unforgettable. After the concert we had to wait a while, until the many vehicles were driven away from the parking areas to the highway. Also we know this from large concerts. On the way back to Vancouver it was gentle raining and full moon and we sang cheerful: "Have you ever seen the rain" and "I see the bad moon rising" ...Our tip: Always bring enough cash!
