This is more of a young family park. Not lots of slides, but enough for kids to have fun. Teens don't like it. I haven't been there for many years. There are also other kid attractions adjoing this park,. And a private camp ground close.
Line ups are long. I only got on 4 trips down the main four slides all day due to the long waits, even when the lines are not long. 10 to 30 minute wait for the main slides each time. The river ride was a blast though and we spent most our time there since we didn't spend so much time waiting. Everything else was decent and we had fun.
a average place to go with the family,I found the water a little cool, food prices a little steep but we packed a lunch so did not have to buy to much. Clean and well maintained
We recently visited this water park on a very hot summer day. My 3 yr old had a fabulous time and was tall enough 42" to go on most of the slides. The water is heated a bit which was nice. My only problem with this park is that the kids water slide area has a pool type thing at the bottom where they let kids sorta play, some kids were putting the tubes on their heads and trying to hide underwater. This is potentially a very dangerous thing. No staff or parents were stopping this and I had to yell at a few kids to stop as other kids almost jumped on their heads!!! If the park doesn't want a death or lawsuit I would have a staff member at the bottom especially on super busy days getting the kids out once they are done sliding.
We had a great day out here with kids 5, 5 and 8. Park have lots of space to sit and picnic. Not too busy even on a Sunday. Could do with a kick of paint but nothing that took away from a great day!
This is a smaller water park with no stairs and is great for younger children. They allow you to bring food in, even a portable bbq.Would of got another star but the washrooms need renovating badly.
This area has a amusement picnic park, easy paths, nice soft grass, gift store, gas in area. The water falls is a 45min walk, beautiful, safe, and might even see a rain bow. Great for picnic, but children over 6yrs, slight incline so shoe tread important. Might spend 2.5hrs. SoftSand-13.
It's tired and in disrepair. My daughter cut her foot on a sprinkler head and the staff were not at all concerned. Made it seem like it happens often. All the children I took came out with an all over body rash, likely from the chlorine levels. I recommend paying the little bit extra and going to Cultus Lake Waterslides. It's triple the size with way more to do for all ages, updated and safe.
Took 5 kids there, ages 4 to 12; they all loved it, and it is easy to keep track of everyone. I love that I can bring my own picnic, and just add a treat from the concession. However, it was not as clean as I expect from such a facility, and didn't feel really sanitary - mold around the edges of some areas, bathrooms often a mess (and not cleaned up nearly often enough). One small kid pooped in the wading pool, staff got everyone out, scooped out the mess, added a bit of chlorine and let everyone back in - all in about 20 minutes. YUK! they need to enforce rules about little swimmer diapers. I will check it out for cleanliness before I go again.
Spent the day here on Wednesday. Staff were friendly. Wait times were average and the slides OK. I had three kids older than 10 who found it so-so. The youngest, 6, had a blast. So here's the not so good. The last time I went here was about 12+ years ago and nothing has changed. The park has a tired feeling to it, and needs upgrades. Sure there's no stairs, but there's old ripped carpet leading up to the slides. It's a skinned knee waiting to happen. The bathrooms are dingy, but whatever, your only in their briefly. Also, bring your own food. The food here is pretty gross, even for overpriced park standards. The good. It really is great for families with little ones, as the park is small and the slides seem to be geared towards the younger set. The staff is friendly and nice. Parking is free, and yes, it's gravel, but who cares. Your not spending your time in the parking lot. Pack a lunch, or bring a BBQ, and don't forget the little kiddies.
My kids enjoy this waterpark because it rarely has long line-ups, the rides are fun and it feels like a very safe environment. I love that the parking is free, I can take my own food, and they have plenty of shaded picnic tables. The setting is beautiful, you can't get better than those gorgeous mountains all around! Anyhow, yes, the bathrooms are dingy but I've seen way worse. The prices are reasonable and I can actually relax there, unlike other waterparks.
We spent a half day here and had a blast. Yes, it looks a little tired and a bit threadbare, but the slides were the perfect length and type for my 6 and 9 year old daughters. Nothing too extreme or difficult. Staff were very nice. We will return next year!!
We went with our 3 and 6 year old kids, and waited to go in the evening for the discounted rate from 3pm to closing time. Everything was great, really fun... some parts were pretty rundown but overall no safety concerns and reasonable clean. Will go back again for sure! Nice picnic area too with lots of shade.
When reading the reviews, I feel like Bridal Falls is getting slammed. Yes, it needs a coat of paint and a good old fashioned "work bee" and sorry, Mr. Manager, but your washrooms are kind of gross and I don't believe they are checked every 20 mins but:1) it's the only waterpark that has decent coupons out there! I always find a '2 for 1' or '2 for 4' coupon before I go- you just cannot beat that value!! 2) it's a great park for families with kids under 10. They can go on everything. You can see the park from the top so they don't get lost and the slides are not scary.3) I like the carpeted walkways rather than pavement.4) the waits are not long! like under 5 mins or no wait at all if youre there after 4:00pm5) it's not Cultus. Don't expect Cultus. But you're also not paying $30 a person plus parking, either. You're not getting your bag checked at the door and told to throw out your baby bottles because they aren't commercially sealed. And youre not losing your kid in the park because it's too busy and big.
My wife went down the ride where you float on tubes and ride the rapids and was injured. We are both very fit people and love sports but this think is dangerous. Too many people at a time, crashing into each other. I saw little children plowed over by 300 lb. adults on this thing. My wife had to go to Emergency and was placed in Trauma section. Even had to have Catscan done to determine full extent on injury to her spine ( C6 and C7 ) ; NOT GOOD ! So please use with caution and be careful you may not get a second chance.
