A real engineering Marvel from the days of the Alaska Highway.Great place to relax and get close to nature.Nice Campground
Its very clean and open. Decent entrance fee.Clearly the care-takers see the value of these old sites and bldgs and the pictures were very well marked so I could imagine the people being featured in their prospective environments in that time. Even found a relative! Great way to spend some time
It had been a while since i visited this attraction and i was impressed on how they recreated history in this small Dawson Creek village. We spent the whole day looking around and taking pictures, i highly reccomend it not only to visitors but residents a like
Old buildings and equipment from historical Dawson Creek have been transported to this site. Well worth a visit - free, although a donation is optional.
Lots to see and do in the Village. Old buildings to explore, houses done in period décor, shops open for business, with staff dressed in period styles. Church on the grounds beautifully kept, used for numerous weddings every spring/summer. Old-time schoolhouse set up for the period.
I live in the area but stop here every few years and everytime I have visitors. So many old artifacts to admire and buildings to tour around. There is a restaurant on site but I haven't eaten there yet.. also, bring your family for the 'old style photoshoot!
Love this place, I highly recommend to anyone, young and old. A fun filled day you can take in at your own pace. Right beside the Rotary water park as well
