We are sorry to hear about your bad experience. We've taken hundreds of satisfied customers over the years based on the information provided on our website. After safety, customer satisfaction is our number one priority. I believe you really wanted to fly with 4 passengers in one helicopter and repeatedly asked if we could bend the rules because 2 of the 4 passengers were kids. The helicopter you were looking to charter from us, which the website pricing is based on, can only take 3 passengers. This is a safety requirement set out by Transport Canada and it is illegal and unsafe for us to take more than 3 passengers (people over 2 years old) per Robinson R44 at one time. Because we couldn’t accommodate you and to help you out we called another company that has a larger helicopter and then put you in direct touch with them. We receive no compensation for this and were doing this as a favour. If pricing information was passed on to you, it was what we would have been verbally told by the other company, and simply passed it on. We do not have any control over the pricing that other companies offer for their larger aircraft including whether or not they choose to quote tax in or pre-tax prices (our prices in our helicopters are tax inclusive). I hope that you can discuss a refund directly with them as they are the company that provided the service and billed you. We will remember your review before giving out phone numbers to other companies in the future.

I planned to propose to my girlfriend and contacted CJ to set something up. He was incredibly helpful, flexible and full of advice prior to our trip. We had to change plans at the last minute due to the weather but again CJ was completely flexible. He took us up in a spacious 4 seater helicopter and we felt at ease the whole time. We had about a 20 minute ride up in to the mountains and amongst some of the most amazing scenery you can imagine. CJ then put the hell down for an hour where I got down on bended knee and fortunately got the desired answer back! I had no idea at the time but CJ had taken photos of me proposing and I can honestly say that these photos will be cherished forever. There aren't many people who have photos atop a mountain (which is only accessible by helicopter) whilst they propose. I was so happy that he took these. The whole trip from start to finish was incredible and an absolute must for anyone visiting Vancouver. We took a taxi ride from vancouver town and it took around 30-40 minutes. Extremely highly recommended.

My husband surprised me with a helicopter tour for my birthday! To make the most of a summer afternoon, Chris worked with my husband to combine and personalize our tour. A quiet retreat to Widgeon Lake was followed by a relaxing soak in the upper Pitt River hot springs, which was then followed by a pleasant dinner at Rogues Bar & Grill at Westwood Plateau Golf & Country Club. The smooth ride over the city and through the mountains on a beautiful summer day made for a fantastic experience! Trevor was a friendly and knowledgeable pilot who helped us feel safe and relaxed. Both Chris and Trevor were a pleasure to interact with and they provided great service for our memorable day. We will gladly tour with Vancouver Helicopter Tours again.

We recently had a retirement celebration utilizing the great services of BC Helicopters. I surprised my wife with the adventure and it was spectacular. I had the flexibility to reschedule due to weather without a hassle. The evening flight to Rowena;s was amazing, the dinner at Rivers Edge was delicious and the Sunset City Tour add-on was a highlight. Flying around Satnley Park and straight up the centre of False Creek was truly an experience. Trevor and Chris are professionals in terms of how they run their business and the attention to detail to deliver a safe and fabulous experience.

We did the Hot Springs excursion, it was absolutely amazing! Our pilot Chris made us feel very safe and comfortable, yet showed us sights that we could have only dreamed about. We will be going back for sure!
