Diana lake is a decent sized fresh water lake just outside Prince Rupert near Port Edward. We visited this lake on 29 May 2014 but it was full of disappointment. Road is all broken and vehicle eating pot holes are everywhere on the road.Mosquitoes were in super abundance everywhere and very much the deal breakerNo signs of maintenance anywhereIf you can go pass these then it is pretty decent place to visit. No dogs allowed and a small park (not maintained yet) is great to spend a family day.
The only downfall is that there are no dogs allowed :(Diana is the place to go when the sun is out with friends and family we always have a great time and because it's close to town we go back and forth all summer
Although the driving trail was closed for the season; we walked to the lake..... It was a beautiful scenic walk with eagle and wolf sightings. The lake is larger than expected, I look forward to returning when the season is warmer.
Diana Lake is a really great place to spend the day with the family, work group, school group etc. There are fire pits and a nice covered area. Great for kayaking or swimming - just stay away from the dam.
I have camped here in the past the sites are very clean and private they provided fire wood. There is a boat ramp to launch boats....its about a ten minute drive from Prince Rupert.
This is a lovely, scenic place with much to offer. There are hiking trails, a sandy beach, many picnic tables and a grassy picnic area and a cook-house. Pets are not allowed, but if is a wonderful place to spend a day with your family. There are facilities on site, which is important if you have little ones. The views of water and waterfalls are breathtaking. Definitely worth a visit if you are in Prince Rupert.
Diana lake is the only lake near by to Prince Rupert where there is any sand. It does have nice grass area for some frisbee. There are fire pits and picnic tables. There are often logs strewn on the beach and some areas of mud.
Really nice place to zip out for couple of hours on a nice sunny day. Gorgeous views of the lake.
tranguil lake where you can hike around the area, picnic, a place you can barbecue or have a fire on the beach etc.
This Provincial Park has a lot to offer..It has a trail, a fall , a traversable dam, a beach, pic nic area and toilets... Perfect for hiking, swimming, canoeing and even fishing.
