Prince George can hold its own in the professional theatre department solely because of Theatre North West. It has a welcoming atmosphere and I think it is well worth the money for the tickets. The best seats are down below near the floor. However, the comfier seats are up top, realistically all are fairly good views with professional acting and beautiful sets. Well worth the price! I highly recommend it.

Theatre North West always has an interesting program - some plays to make you think, some to make you laugh, some to make you cry, and some do all of the above. Supported by a number of volunteers and sponsors, their season includes four plays which run from October to May. Season's ticket holders get "first dibs" on seats; if you purchase tickets for only one play, stadium seating rules apply so get there early. The theatre has 228 seats. With 3840 seasons ticket holders, it isn't unusual for a play to sell out and be held over. But be warned: like many non-profits, this organization relies on donations and sponsors, and that means budget seating. I often bring a chair cushion with me when I attend.
