stellar descents white water rafting

If we come near fraser river again, we are ready to go on a trip with Stellar Descents rafting again!We had so much fun with Tyler in the boat :-)

White water rafting on Labor Day weekend was the last chance before the rafting season closed, so we got the unusual experience of rafting in 15 celsius in the rain (no cancellation for rain). Rain is no problem! We were bundled in fleeces and rain jackets and were too busy enjoying the river adventure and the funny banter of the staff to be concerned for cold or rain. I recommend Stellar Descents for great professional outdoor fun for all - my retired mother joined for a 1st time white water rafting experience - and we all loved it! :-)

We took an evening float down the Fraser River with Simon. He was as amusing and personable guide as we cruised for a little over an hour on the river. We were hoping to see more wildlife but eagles, both Bald and Golden were our only sightings. Simon and Tyler were very accommodating, making every effort to keep us safe and as dry as possible, considering we were in the water. I would recommend both the float and the white water rafting with Stellar Descents!!

The guys running the show really love what they do and it sure shows on the white water raft trip! Highly recommend them!

Had fun, and learned a lot of new stuff about the history of the Fraser River and its surrounding. Would recommend it to anyone wanting to experience the views from the water!

What an awesome morning on the Fraser River. My kids and I did the scenic float with Mason, he was super friendly and knowledgeable. The service was top notch from my initial phone call to our departure, this team is exceptional! Will definitely be back for another (hopefully longer) fun-filled tour through this beautiful area!

Our group of 7 pretty much filled up the raft, except for Jimmy from Stellar and his friend. We had a great time on the Fraser and very much enjoyed this small company. The trip was cheaper than the big companies and the service very personalized. The four staff members include the two owners and they all take turns doing the different jobs (front desk, photographer, bus driver and pilot). This was my third rafting trip, but the first one with Stellar. It certainly won't be the last!

This was our first time white water rafting. We chose this company due to the great reviews on Trip Advisor and we were not disappointed! Our family of 5 ranged in age from 49 to 11. We had a spectacular time. All the staff were extremely friendly and professional. Our guide, Simon was very knowledgeable and I felt confident in his abilities throughout the whole experience. I am glad we chose a company away from the mainstream places such as Jasper or Banff. The groups were smaller and it was more personable. I will definitely recommend Stellar Descents White Water Rafting!

We all had such a great time with the stellar descents crew. Simon made our first time out a lot if fun. Great experience and can't wait to do it again.

We had never white water rafted before, but decided to give it a try. I was nervous at first but these guys are so professional, experienced and inform you so well of everything you feel much more relaxed. The ride was so exciting and when we got to calmer water, I didn't want it to end. The 3 hour white water ride is totally worth the money. I would do it again.

We were so relieved that they provided wet suits, fleece, splash jackets and booties so we could propel our raft into the teeth of the Fraser River! We enjoyed all the staff we met, a very personable bunch, but especially our great, encouraging guide, Tyler. We formed a bonded team with the other family we rafted with!

A bunch of us went rafting on the Fraser last Friday, and had an amazing time! All the staff/guides so wonderful, professional and make you feel at ease with the taks you are going to do! So happy we went with their outfit, well worth the money, facilities are very good *they suit you up from head to toe*, they take fantastic pictures of you while you are on your journey then you can buy then for only 20! Looking forward to do it again and would recommend this to anyone that is wanting to try this!

I love the more intimate nature of a small company like this one, the guides were awesome, knowledgeable, and clearly loved what they do. They were very clear in all their instructions, very safety conscious and had great senses of humour. We had a small group, just me, my boyfriend and a fellow from Germany (I think) Bernie, which made it easier to talk to the guides. They emphasized teamwork, which made us feel like we were key to having an enjoyable experience. The rapids were exciting, and given how hot it was (35 degrees!!), getting splashed by the nice cold water was super refreshing. I have been rafting once before, so I was not nervous, but it was my boyfriends first time and he was quickly made very comfortable. I think the experience was great for all levels! Plus, for any nervous women thinking about booking, the guys were all easy on the eyes ;) we will defiantly be booking another trip in the near future! They have us hooked on rafting.

For a beginner this was a 10 on the scale. The instructors gave us extensive (and humorous) safety guides, led us through rapids both mild and turbulent, knew the river (and tested us in the portage). Equipment, changing rooms, photos all top notch. I'd recommend Stellar Descents to anyone.Well done to Jim, Tyler et al.
