Knox mountain has the most amazing and gorgeous views from the Okanagan lake and Kelowna. This place is a must to go for any tourist who visits Kelowna. I hike here very often, sometimes on my own, and you are never alone because there are always people going up and down the mountain. If you don't hike, from March 15th to November 15th, the road is open, the bathrooms, and you have water for you and your dog. if you go with your dog, be sure you don't leave it runnig free because you may have a ticket that goes from $150, to $350!!! Same if you do not pick its pooh. You are caught, you have to pay the ticket! Knox mountain is the best for your body and mind, do not miss it!

This place was amazing. The view went for miles and was 360 degrees of total beauty. It was a bit tough of a climb and the trails were mostly maintained with some muddy slippery areas. However once you make it to the top, the view makes getting there completely worth it. I will be back!

Convenient parking at the trail head, close to downtown Kelowna. Wonderful views of the city and the lake, good workout going up hill, nice trail along the lake to Paul's Tomb.

Lots of trails to choose from. My kids have done their school cross country runs there once a year. I love the trail out to Paul's Tomb. The lakeshore at this end of this trail is very pretty. You can start at the bottom by the tennis courts or drive up to the lookout. Great views of Kelowna and the lake.

Went for a short drive up to Knox Mountain, not realising how close it was in town! Such an amazing view! There was a lot of people hiking and walking up and it would definitely be a great hike, next time for sure. Its nice to have a lookout so close to home with such an amazing view!

A short drive from the hotel, could easily be done on a bike. The look offs are well maintained and provide fantastic views of the City and the lake Plan on spending time to drink in the scenery and bring along a picnic snack

Knox Mtn offers it all - variety of hikes, excellent lake views, wildlife sightings and plenty of parking. The main trail faces south so is clear of ice and snow, even when the rest of town is a winter wonderland. A definite must for any active person visiting Kelowna!

Lots of trails, great views dog friendly a nice relaxing get away that's close to home (for us anyway) but easy to find if Kelowna is not your home.

We love hiking up here. You can hike the road all the way to the top or halfway you can take a trail to Paul's tomb. Beautiful little private beach at the end of that hike.

This is quite the hike up to the top, but once there the views are breathtaking. Really enjoyed it, lots of people on the trails - obviously some who hike them every week. Not an easy hike, but well worth the sweat.

One of my favorites for a walk or run. If you take a camera you wronged be disappointed. I have taken some fabulous lake and trail shots on my walks. The trails are well marked and maintained. There is a portapotty by Paul's tomb area too. There should be a trail for everybody. Some are steeper than others. Remember to take some water and some okanagan apples for a snack.

Easily accessible by car, bike or on foot. Great look off areas and places to rest and you can totally take it at your speed and pace. I saw people walking their dogs and they also have a nice off leash area for dogs too.

The drive up Knox mountain is well worth the trip. Lots of viewing areas that have a clear unobstructed view of the Kelowna and Okanagan Lake area. This is a great place to take visitors and don't forget your camera's
