There were several "different" blackjack tables with weird rules. I like just the basic; not where 22 is a push and blackjack pays 6:5

Great location. Take the Canada Line train. It stops right outside the door to the River Rock Hotel and Casino. Lots the big name acts to see in the show room. Fun place for gamblers.

The buffet is about $15 for seniors. Excellent value for the money. The view is absolutely spectacular! The food is good, quite a selection. I do not gamble so I cannot comment on the gambling part of the casino.

Staff that treats people unfairly and acts like mafioso. Sad sad customers with broken lives. If you think you can win you are sadly mistaken. Good buffet and dated, really dated entertainers from 1950's Las Vegas (barely walking)

Beautiful facility. Great entertainment, staff very friendly and allowed to wear theme clothes for special nights. Great buffet on Sunday. Card tables were always packed. Seats seem to never come available. Hard to come with friends to play a game when very few seats available. Great bar service though.

A typical B.C. Casino. I wonder why we are unable to add a touch of glamour or class to our casino's. Take a lesson from facilities in The U.S. This Casino is dark and poorly laid out. It is impossible to take a break and get a simple cup of coffee and light refreshment.

Love/Hate relationship with this place.Very clean and safe. Lost way too much money here though. Definitely will recommend

While Canadian casinos don't stack up to the American casinos the River Rock is as good as it comes in metro Vancouver. For those who are not familiar with roulette feel free to ask Ryan (the box man) or any of the dealers for assistance. My experience is that the restaurants leave much to be desired and if you attend the food court be aware that it's generally difficult to find a clean table.

Casinos in Canada are not known for fun usually. The River Rock Casino is big enough that there's something for everyone, and if you're in the lounge, having a drink, you feel like you're in a 'happening' place. It's convenient to get to (right by the Skytrain), has all of the amenities, and has generally friendly staff.

All the places to dine at River Rock are god the food court the Buffet and the Italian it all depends how much you want to eat and how much time you have

This casino really gets hopping on a Saturday night! We had a lot of fun. Lots of new games to try that we had never seen before as well as some of our old favorites. They had a go-go dancer at the bar and a live band playing. It was really high-energy and fun. The noise level was kind of high, so if you are looking for low key you might want to keep that in mind.

A casino close to what Vegas has to offer. A parkade for cars fills up relatively quickly especially in the evening. Good selection of slot machines and table games.

Main reason for going was to see a show, Wayne Brady. So first a quick review of the theater. You geptin and out of this by stairs. Which by my opinion are to narrow,this is very evident when exiting as the line moves very slow,mostly due to the stairs. Sound and lighting is good, seats are very comfortable. Looking around I don't think there is a bad swain the house. This is an excellent venue to see a show. Parking is free and very close to wthe casino. We had a bite to eat. The buffet had to long of a wit so we chose to eat at one of the choices at the food fair. We ordered form the oriental place. The food was delicious. Fresh and tatsy. Lots of flavor, like some one cared about making it. A definite thumbs up.

I went to the casino for the first time, and tried my hand at roulette. Initially, i had a seat and was assisted by the dealer, (as I had never played before). All was well until two drinking females decided to join the table to gamble. They took over, reaching over me to place their bets, accompanied with non stop loud chatter. In my opinion, (based on my experience), they were rude and inconsiderate. I am a man of 70, and they were in their 30's I would guess, (but acted like two teenagers). They stunk of cigarettes and booze. When I gently confronted them about invading my space, they made a few wise cracks, and wouldn't let up, commenting on my age and other insulting remarks, so I ended up leaving. I did not feel supported by the staff at the table, and this ruined my experience. The staff did not say a word. I would never go there again, and maybe thats a good thing, as I ended up losing $50.00. :) Maybe they did me a favour in the long run…lol
