This mall kept updating itself. You find all sorts of shops here. Not too crowded except for the junction at starbucks. The food court has been improved, fabulous with plenty seating. My favourite stores are the sporting goods place (spent almost an hour there) and the farm store selling all sorts of fruits and veggie. All in all great shopping experience accessible via sky train and you get off at Brighouse (last stop) or via bus.
Since the advent of the Food Terrace and the restructuring of the retail outlets Richmond Centre has attracted higher end brands as tenants. Of course this reflects in the increase of patrons especially the youth who always appear to have more than enough money to spend. I've noticed that parking has become more scarce also
I like the Asian feel of this hotel as I'm originally from the Philippines. Lots of choices. The only thing I don't like is that there's not much healthy food available in the food court.
Richmond is easily accessible now the Canada Line is in operation. The Mall is across the road and that is useful when it rains. The mall has all the major department stores although Sears is apparently closing. The Dining Terrace is huge and there is a variety of cuisines to choose from. I have to commend the staff for keeping it so clean.
Located in the heart of Richmond on #3 Road and crossing with Westminster Hwy is the Richmond Center Mall is a clean and modern shopping mall with the variety of stores one would expect, anchored on either end of the mall with the Hudson's Bay store at one end and the other end with Sears. There are a variety of shops including Boss, Zara, Nike, Apple, banks, drug stores and many others. There is even a produce mart with a great selection of fresh produce. On the street level is the expected Starbucks, but on the second level is the food court which is the shining star in this mall. Clean and modern with large, clean restrooms, this food court offers a wide variety of the foods one would expect and additionally an array of ethnic food offerings. Another great feature is the rooftop parking for autos that allow a direct entry into the food court from the parking area. There is also additional parking at street level, both covered lots and open lots.If one wishes to use public transportation, there are bus stops located outside the mall and across the street on the malls' east side is a large station for Skytrain which is the light rail system for the Vancouver area. One block to the west of the mall is Minoru Park which is a beautifully kept public park with walking trails, a lake with ducks, etc., playing fields and benches for sitting and enjoying the beauty of the area. Richmond Center Mall is not just for shopping, it is a true destination that satisfies many needs.
This mall was a happy, relaxed place to shop and so I did. The security/information people were very good and I asked all kinds of questions.
This large shopping mall is definitely the premier shopping destination in Richmond! The mall boasts a wide variety of traditional mall anchors (Aeropostle, Garage, etc.) and also some stores you would normally only find at outlet malls (Coach, Nike, etc.). But the one biggest feature of the mall is the upscale food court. The food court area actually used to be a movie theater, but then the mall converted it into a beautiful food court, with many food options available.
This is one of the best malls in the Vancouver area, with lots of good shopping, nice appearance as well as a food court that has a number of unique restaurants in addition to some of the usual food court chains. Lots of ethnic food including Japanese, Chinese, Korean, Vietnamese, Thai, Indian, Greek, etc. and even a creperie/gelato ice cream (yes!) place. We've even gone there just to eat. The mall has most of the stores we usually look for, not just the ones that are in every mall. Some of the more unique ones are Zara, Tommy Hilfiger, Nike, Michael Kors, Fossil, Browns, Boss, BCBG, there's lots more.
This mall has pretty much got all the brands and stores that you are looking for and a little more. If your looking for something specific or jus to browse don't waste your time with the Pacific centre, hop on the sky train to the richmond station and the mall is right across the street. They have lots to choose from, great services in the shops and an extensive food court for lunch.
Since they have added the massive Dining Terrace (fancy name for food court) on the second floor, Richmond Centre has become one of my favorite shopping malls. The selection of diverse ethinic foods lets me choose what I feel like eating during my shopping sprees whether it be Chinese, Japanese, Korean, Vietnamese, Thai, Greek, Indian, New York Fries, KFC, Quiznos, and a few great dessert places. They also have a Mcdonalds, Qoola, a Chinese restaurant, and Kernels Popcorn downstairs. They have plenty free parking which is a bonus, and they've added many new shops over the years like Apple, Samsung, Coach, Michael Kors, and Victoria Secret is scheduled to open soon! From food, clothing, shoes, electronics, sports equipment, dollar stores to high end shops, Richmond Centre really has almost everything I need!
This mall got everything. All important brands. Easy location -- a bus bay is right in front of the mall along with SkyTrain station. The real attraction at this mall is its food terrace located on the first floor - very tasty food at reasonable prices.
I stopped in the mall last Friday, to visit the Apple store, the Bay and Indigo books. Great service in every shop! Then I had lunch at the White Spot restaurant in the mall. The service there was fantastic. After leaving the restaurant I went to the parking lot and found my car didn't start. I called mall security and they responded immediately. While I was waiting for security to show up, the manager of the White Spot stopped and asked me how he could help! He had just finished his shift and was willing to stay with me and wait for the tow truck. A wonderful security guard also stayed with me while we waited for the tow truck. Amazing! After the tow truck boosted me, the security guard told me the mall was covering the cost of the tow truck boost which would have cost me around $60.00! I then went around the corner to the Kal Tire in the mall and they replaced my battery within 15 minutes! All around, the assistance I received was above and beyond. Incredible! I will definitely be back!
I have been visiting the Richmond Centre mall since 2007 and I never stop wanting to shop at the place. From the "Bay" to the "Apple Store", and my favourite shoe shop "Aldo", and the "Rogers" shop as well as the "food court" and many other stores at the center, it is always a delight to walk around and window shop, feed my eyes and stretch my legs even when I am not buying stuff. The amenities here include a place for children to play as well as seats for you to seat when your legs are tired. The toilets are also clean and well kept. One thing missing here is a cinema which would have made it a complete mall for me. I bet you will find most things you need here if you want to shop in the Richmond area.
Lots of great shops and the food court is awesome! The variety of restaurants available made it easy for my family of 4 to pick and choose what to eat for dinner (we each picked a different place). We ended our meal with delicious gelato for dessert from Froshberg Gelato.
Six of us enjoyed choosing our favorites from Vietnamese, Korean, Japanese, Chinese and American cuisine for less than $15 a person and then eating together before exploring the rest of the mall. The mall is within easy walking distance from several airport hotels in the Richmond, BC area.
