My husband and I visited Sento Spa while on a motorcycle trip travelling the north shore of St. Lawrence, Gaspe peninsula, then south shore. Being on our bikes for 9 days, the experience at Sento Spa was a timely and healthy rest for our tired bodies. The welcoming staff and warm and newly renovated interior to a fantastic local historical building was a great start to a wonderful spa treatment. The various baths, hot tubs, quiet yurt meditation tent, and sauna all added up to a relaxing and rejuvenating spa experience. Time in the salt cave was a special surprise for me as I suffer from asthma. Within 10 minutes, I could feel the benefits of this treatment on my breathing. It has been three days since our visit and I have yet to use any asthma medication that I normally would use 1-2 times a day. Great experience overall! Would recommend this special place to anyone for a day to reconnect with yourself. The place allows you to step back in a safe and beautiful environment to listen to your inner voice and quiet your mind. Easy to access off the highway. Remember to bring bath slippers (flip flops) and a camera! Sushi dinner served on Fridays which was fantastic and prepared fresh on site.

I visited the Sento Spa the evening of February 7 and spent about 4 hours there with a friend. Sento is by far the best spa I have visited. Arriving at the spa I was struck by the architecture of the building which is apparently one of the early 1900s homes of the Breakey family yet the owners have created a Japanese feel to the spa. The grounds were well layed out and easy to navigate. I started with a one hour Swedish massage with Joanie. Excellent, excellent, excellent is all I can say about the massage. February in Quebec was obviously very cold outdoors but moving among the sauna, heated pools and chomotherapy hut was refreshing with a couple of quick dips into the cold pool. We received a special treat when the owner let us spend 30 minutes in the soon to be opened salt cavern. There were a couple of minor technical bugs to work out but the overall design and execution are great. If you have any breathing or allergy problems the salt cavern is a must. The spa is reasonably close to Quebec City (about 20-30 min. drive) and is well worth the effort. I would highly recommend Sento Spa to anyone visiting the area.

Nous somnes allé pour la Saint-Valentin et nous avons été ravis. Cependant, la caverne de sel est décevante. Ils auraient avantage a expliqué l'expérience aux gens avant d'y aller. Mais le reste est super et le décors est très enchanteur et surtout Zen et relaxant! À découvrir sans hésiter.

Accueil chaleureux, décor exceptionnel, ambiance zen authentique,rien au sento Spa ne semble emprunté ni kitsch. Ces gens savent de quoi ils parlent et ils répondront à toutes vos questions respectueusement et chaleureusement .C'est une chance d'avoir un coin de paradis pareil au Québec si singulier et si accessible à la fois.J'ai reçu l'un des meilleur massage californien de ma vie par André et la nourriture est sublime. Les bains dans la tradition japonaise sont exceptionnels et le site est magnifique.Je le recommande ans hésitation.

Patrimoine et design réunis dans ce Spa japonais où règne un calme bienfaisant. Le Spa le plus zen que j'ai visité. Je recommande chaudement.

Suite à un achat TUANGO, je suis maintenant une adepte du Sento spa. Les propriétaires qui sont ultra sympathiques n'hésitent pas à nous raconter l'histoire épatante de cette villa lorsque nous leur ouvrons la porte et d'un autre côté, savent nous laisser à notre intimité lorsque nous relaxons. L'endroit est magnifique, la soupe miso, la meilleure que j'aie eu la chance de manger, mon massothérapeute, André, fait des miracles et que dire du décor, splendide. Le bassin en pierre naturelle est unique. Les différents site de repos sont bien aménagés et différents de ce que j'avais l'habitude de voir dans l région. Je suis sous le charme depuis plus d'un an. Moi qui avait l'habitude d'essayer de nouveaux spas fréquemment, je ne suis retournée à aucun depuis ma première visite au Sento.

Nous avons été accueillis par les propriétaires, deux Belges sympathiques. Le décor est épuré et inspire au calme et les installations sont d'une propreté irréprochable. On nous fourni une serviette ainsi qu'une petite bouteille de savon à notre arrivée. Des repas légers sont servis sur place. Essayez le gâteau aux bananes et au chocolat noir. Quel délice!Mon conjoint a essayé le massage Amma et il a adoré!Ce qui différencie cet endroit des bains nordiques, c'est le calme, aucun bruit de moteur désagréable venant des spas, nul besoin de parler fort pour se comprendre. Ceci rend l'expérience de détente fort agréable.Nous sommes sortis de notre visite au Sento Spa dans un état de relaxation profond. Nous avons l'intention d'y retourner dès que possible.
