The title says it all. This is a must see if you're in Quebec City. Boutiques, local designers, restaurants, theater, music and always with a nice decor. Very romantic. Small area.

So beautiful! It's one of the most picturesque spots in Canada and you get some good exercise climbing that hill. Don't miss it.

To be in Europe without being in Europe! That's what this place exudes, old charming European city that just invites you to walk around and enjoy the sites. We visited during Christmas and were not disappointed!!

Quaint, charming, and beautiful! Snow, carolers, maple taffy and everyone was so friendly dispite the single degee weather.

Quebec City is a regular haunt for me due to business interests, but is always a pleasure to bring friends and family to this location and see through their eyes the delight of turning the corner and descending the stairs towards the quartier. I was fortunate enough to take my partner to visit both during the fall and this past winter (during the last weekend of Carnaval). Both times were enchanting - the European flavour of the buildings unlike anywhere else in Canada, and for this most recent visit they were highlighted by the ice sculptures and maple taffy kiosk. There are plenty of shops and restos to meander through, each as quaint as characterful as the street itself, with friendly proprietors. Highly recommend this attraction that fully represents what Vieux-Quebec has to offer!

At the bottom of Côte de la Montagne, escalier Casse-Cou and the funicular, lies the Petit-Champlain district, a beautiful neighborhood resembling a quaint European village. Quartier Petit Champlain comprises narrow streets lined with one-of-a-kind boutiques and bistros. This area is a great place to visit boutiques during the day and it has a different feel at night, very romantic. Beautifully decorated during the Christmas Holidays.

The combination of small shops located in buildings that have over 200 years, friendly shopkeepers that will take care of you either in French or English, the funicular that takes you all the way to Chateau Frontenac and other wonders makes this place irreplaceable...You can not say that you were in Old Quebec and you did not visit this place....

This district has to be one of the most beautiful places I have ever visited. Went during Winter Carnival - many neat ice sculptures, decorations and outdoor bars/patios open (yes, even in the winter!) Visit during the day then go back and see it all lit up for nighttime - you won't be disappointed!

It is the oldest commercial district in North America. Discover the boutique and restaurant. You will see a mural painted of 900 square ft represented the history of the district In 1759.

This is a must see street in Old Quebec especially in the winter. It has lots of small boutiques that sell handmade items created by local artists.
