My family of five plus friends have been here four times and each time have thoroughly enjoyed the challenges that lay ahead. Even our 7 year old was able to challenge himself right up to dad (48 yrs) who doesn't fancy heights! Teens loved it! Safe and challenging! Give it a go - it's really worth it!
Wanted more than meaningless Christmas gifts for my teenage family, so even though one or more of my daughters was scared of heights, we were totally at ease at the level of safety they provide, all the equipment is second to none. We made lifelong memories and outdid all of our goals, as the challenges got harder we gained confidence, and only finished with two of the hardest courses to do so we could "save" them for our next visit 10/10.
The staff were absolutely brilliant, enthusiastic, passionate about their jobs, the safety briefing was excellent and the high ropes courses were challenging and super fun. We had a fantastic Valentines day at adventure forest!
Great day climbing through the trees.Staff were awesome helping and suggesting different routes.Would highly recommend. We live in Auckland and will be making a special trip soon just to do this again, its that cool.Cost is very competitive.
wow amazing service safety and fun. loved by our 3 year old seven year old 30 year old and the 50 year old nana.lovely afternoon - would recommend to all families.
What a fantastic place to entertain the young teens. We had lovely sunshine, awesome staff who were always around when you needed them, they were kind and very encouraging. All under the trees which made it "sun safe" too, (though you still may want to take a hat just in case) regarding the safety of the children, it was great, we didn't need to worry, they followed the instructions and were often heard helping the others in the group. So Thanks guys for a fun day out. We will Be Back! :-)
The adventure forest is a magical place. I love that I can do the climbs with my children - it's challenging but we all enjoy it. Sometimes I'm encouraging them and other times it's them encouraging me. Lovely staff and atmosphere too.
Excellent tuition and then we were off. We had 3 preschoolers and 4 school age children. They were all able to do various courses. The hardest part was convincing them that it was time to go home. Can't wait to go again.
We've been to the adventure forest a few times, for kids birthdays as well as a school trip. The facility is very well run with great staff who are well trained and very patient. Several levels are available to cater for different ages and abilities, which you can progress through as your courage builds (limited by your height). A great activity to do on a hot day as it is lovely and cool in the forest with plenty of shade.
Visited the adventure park not sure what to expect. Hosts were really helpful and friendly. Safety briefing on how to use the equipment was excellent, easy to follow, and didnt overload on info. Lots of courses to try at all levels. You don't have a time limit which was excellent. Staff were always on hand to help whenever you needed it, or give advice. We spent 4 hours there which flew by. We only left becuase we were exhausted!!!! Take a picnic and lots of water. its all under tree cover which is great. Doesnt matter what your confidence level is - the courses are well designed and you can make them as hard as you like by challenging yourself. Great for all ages and fitness levels. Safety system is easy to use and equipment is in really good condition. Thoroughly recommend - it is very good value for money & fun exercise.Peanut slabs and drinks available. also, one loo available too.
Our 20 something talked us 50/60 somethings into giving this a lash and it was the most fun we had in NZ. We all really enjoyed it and our son is talking about returning with a friend before we leave. The safety briefings were thorough, everything was well marked, and the setting was just beautiful. What a wonderful way to spend an afternoon-fun for everyone!!
We visited this place very early January 2015.EVERY member of our family had an apsolute ball. From the very youngest at 3 years old to me at 50. The staff are well trained and safety conscious. The equipment and facilities are really well maintained. But even after 63 years they aren't jaded. they are truly friendly happy people to deal with. What impressed me was that no matter what age you are theres a course for you to try. You could easily spend a day there going round the different types from lots of ziplines to full c swinging from the treetops on a trapeze. You are never in any actual danger with double safety measures in most cases. I'd recommend it to anyone. Our pics are mostly of the youngest in the family -the other courses are a fair bit higher
Came here as a surprise planned from my boyfriend for my birthday. Even though I'm afraid of heights I had a blast. Around 7 different tree-trails available with different levels of difficulty and lots of flying foxes, really cool! I enjoyed it a lot even raining. Everything is eel-maintained, the staff is really nice, they teach you how to use it and give you all the safety tips and they assist you in the first attempts. Totally worth a visit!
My family and I come here regularly and always have such a great time! The people who run it are super friendly, very safety conscious and always maintain the courses well. They recently added a new course too! It's accessible to people of all ages. I even took my father here earlier in the year who is 70 and he loved it.
We had a school visit to Adventure Forest and it was fantastic. Every student was able to complete at least one of the courses. The training was thorough and easily picked up by the students. There were several course for students to do that became more challenging. We spent 3 hours there which gave us plenty of time for each student to complete at least 4 of the courses. The hosts were very patient and positive and took time to work with students who were not confident with heights.
